It is not a credit transaction if the cash wasn't there in excess of $50 more then what you wish to spend you wouldn't be able to make a transaction cause every debit card transaction with gas requires a hold of at least $50 even if your only spending $10 so if you don't have the money the transaction will not be approved . There is no credit in a debit card transaction!
