This station has a Marks & Spencers attached making it a pleasure to stop at. Unfortunately, this doesn't do much for my wallet or my waistline. Stop for unleaded and you'll come out with delicious food and the need for a new mortgage. read more

Becuase even though you're judging me, you're also jealous that I was there and didn't pick *you* up 30 toilet rolls for a tenner or 3 boxes of Crunchy Nut for £7. Or that amazing Kirkland brand trail mix with the fake M&Ms. Or eleventy billion vitamins. But what I would like to add to this seeming useless, uncool review is that they've translated the £1.50 hot dog + soda deal into "English" with the ability to opt for the .50p tea + bakewell tart offer. Keepin' it classy, Costo! Raaaaather! I opted for the beef, as per usual.
Tesco Stores
What started out as a small store on a couple of derelict factories is now a beast. The shop was…read morealways overloaded with people and being Tesco's they realised that they could expand the store and have overhauled the site considerably. The double-decker car park is an utter eyesore, which has now ruined the already-shabby Elmers End area. On the plus side, they bought an old access road and some waste ground from Network Rail to create a long-overdue bus station at Elmers End, creating a nice little train/tram/bus transport hub. It also has a Costa. The problem is, it caters to the people who come over the border from Croydon and the quality of the goods isn't there. As a result, shopping can be an unpleasant experience. Sundays are suicide and I never quite feel safe hanging around there at night.
