Updated Review - I had BPW come out after having a bid to re-do my roof. The roofer went up in the attic, took a bunch of pics and told me that I had a air duct that was all torn up and was wide open. I immediately called Brent to come and repair. Let me just start by saying, if I could give stars...I would!! Brent is AMAZING. A true professional and a lifesaver. It never fails, the night before a holiday that's when we noticed the water heater was leaking. We had been traveling for 2 weeks and came home at 8pm to find a slow leak coming from the water heater. Of course I jumped on yelp and started looking for all the best reviews with 24 hour service. I sent out some quote requests and Brent got in touch with me within 15 minutes. I called and told him the problem and he said he'd come out TONIGHT and help us turn off the water and drain the water heater!! And better yet, he'd do it for free!! NO $100 and up fee just to come take a look...he was ready to fix it that night. He even offered to call Home Depot and pick up the new water heater on the way. Within 30 minutes Brent was at our house and ready to work. He was professional and confident in the knowledge of the job he came to do. And I say that because little did he know he was walking into the lions den as my dad waited in the garage. Now we all know those old guys, they think they know everything and can fix just about anything just because they've been alive forever. But no really, my dad is just an old dog who likes to show his teeth and growl a lil bit...but who didn't have a father who did that with all the handymen that came over?! Anywho, they went back and forth asking questions and shooting back answers and Brent never wavered. He won that old dog over with his kindness and knowledge and confidence that he had in himself and the job that he knew he could do. To say I was impressed is an understatement. I've seen grown men walk away defeated and (ego) bruised after going a round with Mufasa (my dad ). July 4th morning Brent showed up bright and early and on time with brand new water heater in tow. Once again the word amazing comes to mind bc he did that work all on his own. No helper. He was in and out in about 2 hours and we have a brand new water heater to show for his quick work. I would recommend and refer Brent to anyone and everyone that is looking for or in need of a master plumber. A true professional. I AM Movement is a gym for people with special needs and the elderly.  As such, climate control is essential.  We needed heating/air conditioning in our boxing area so we'd be ready to rumble when the pandemic passes.  We assumed the unusual "U" shaped space would require a large unit and the contractor bids we received substantiated it...until Brent came along.  He was the only person to offer up a viable alternative solution that was cheaper to purchase, install, and maintain.  He's also a great communicator who's quick to respond and explains things well.  That Brent, he's one "cool" dude. read more

I just spoke to Brent, the owner and what a great guy! I can totally see why he has all 5 star reviews! I haven't even hired him yet but the amount of time he takes to talk to you and the level of professionalism and courtesy is amazing! I would definitely give him a call for a quote if not some valuable information. Bottom line, it's miserable in my house but I cannot afford the cost to completely replace my AC system so he said he would send his brother to take a look for a min $75 service fee which is also applicable to future services.... -----------UPDATE----------- +3 hrs later, same day. Pat, Brent's brother called and came within hours! Just like Brent, Pat is also super nice and very easy to talk to. He was just down helping Brent while he was out of town. As I mentioned my finances are just not great right now and I was super candid with Brent and Pat about the fact I cannot afford an $8K replacement!! They both understood and temporarily sealed a leak and added more magic juice (refrigerant) into the condenser. I say "magic juice" because apparently it's just a temporary fix and an older hard to find refrigerant but it works great now. Most places try to upsell or refuse to do these temp fixes. Pat was super honest and let me know he doesn't like doing such repairs because it often leads to false expectation. I assured him I was aware of that this was not the best solution and would not hold it against them if it didn't last. It was just nice how honest he was about everything! I'm just super thankful for guys like Pat and Brent! It's not easy to find good honest hard working people these days. CALL BRENT AND BPW HEATING AND COOLING WITHOUT HESITATION!! YOU WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED! One last thing, Brent just called me back and further took care of me on the repair far exceeding expectations! This guy is top notch! A very genuine man who didn't upsell anything. He was honest and friendly, so I felt comfortable with him. I did contact quite a few other companies and I couldn't really settle on them... some told me they had no availability (what?!) and some told me that after diagnosing, they would come back to repair if needed which didn't help the situation for the day. Brent checked a few things and as a new homeowner, I knew that the previous owners didn't do much to take care of the equipment. He did say it needs to be replaced but added in refrigerant to at least cool it for a few days. His pricing is reasonable so I will be contacting him for installation once I save up for the new unit. BPW heating is definitely a company you can trust!!! My husband and I are having issues with our heater so we called another company to come help diagnose the problem. This other company (Cooling Heating & Repairs) sent a tech out who told us that the board was broken and that the board alone would cost us $400 *eye roll* well we weren't born yesterday so we called around and luckily got a hold of BPW heating - the owner was very transparent with my husband and gave him options. He came over same day and guess what? Board isn't broken!! It was a simple sensor issue that was much cheaper than anticipated. My air conditioner went out right when it was going to be 95 degrees!!!! Brent came out and did what he could to try and revive my 20+ year old condenser however it was a goner. He gave me a great quote on a replacement (as well as a lot of other work including fixing duct work, etc.) and he returned the following day to to the job. This guy typically provides service same day. I'm impressed! My AC went out last night. Record breaking heat wave on a holiday weekend. I called about a dozen AC repair companies. Half didn't answer. The rest said they could make it in 3-4 days. Then, I call BPW. He said he could be at my house that day, between 3 and 5. He showed up just before 3. He asked me 2 questions and went straight to the condenser in my backyard. He replaced the capacitor, charged the coolant, and was done in less than 1/2 hour. Everything works great .
