It took me a few years to warm to this place and really Im not sold on the coffee shop / cafe. Its…read moretoo small and chaotic. I do however love the fresh veg and organic selection of sauces etc that as someone with allergies to food items or additives I have a hard time finding the healthy options. I can find it here. I cannot however find it in the food they serve here. Not much is GF including the soup so eating here is problematic. I usually have a coffee while my mum or sister eats and I watch. Fun, not. The owners are nice and friendly. They have a good wine selection and you can even bottle your own from the casket if you wish. I find the wine over priced so not a win here I'm afraid. It is difficult to find parking and it can be crazy at certain hours like breakfast lunch etc so I avoid these times. I'm putting an addition as this summer all prices went up 20 percent. When I asked staff about it they justified it by saying they had no increases in a few year's. When I mentioned the worst recession in history they were dismissive. This does not impress me. You're still sitting in a deli it's not a restaurant yet it is more expensive than one and no waiters.

Great spot - American wholefoods market style deli in Naas. Was delighted when I stumbled upon it…read more Lovely veggies and foodie treats to buy, and lovely home made deli food and hands down the best coffee in Naas. Service is amazing, and a real community feel brought about by the shared communal tables. Some really interesting foodie finds too - like how you can bring your own wine bottle and fill it up from the wine barrels full of lovely easy drinking French wine at significantly less cost that bottled! No doubt making for happy locals :) Definitely worth a visit.

Bradburys have been in Athy since 1938 so if you add up those years and all those cakes and breads…read morethey've made over the years ... It's no doubt they call themselves specialists in their field. Their cakes and buns are lovely and fresh. I'm a fan of coffee slices and would prefer their topping to be more like the sticky caramel you get in most bakeries - theirs is a hard icing. Their salads are fresh and they offer a nice selection. For hot food, you can try their all day breakfast - in my opinion it could be of better quality in some parts like the sausages but that's just personal preference. Their vol au vents are tasty and the potato gratin, delicious. The restaurant itself is bright, airy and clean - if the weather permits you can sit in the small terraced garden. The prices are average and there are specials available. The staff are very friendly. Bradburys haven't gone down the gourmet breakfast, sandwich or meal route like so many places have. They have enough of a selection in the salad to build your own gourmet sandwich. Would it make it better if they did advertise an all gourmet menu it's hard to say. As it's a favourite spot for my mum for a bite to eat and a chat, I'll be returning again and again.

To start with I'd like to note that my next statement might seem a tad obvious given the star…read morerating I've given but here goes: I like the Butlers Pantry! And why, you might well ask? Because every single thing about it is nice. The food, the service, the fact that it hasn't turned into a big shop selling crap and has rather stayed as a small shop selling good things. It is a shop that allows for buyers remorse only in the sense that you wished you'd bought more. I realise at this point that I should probably talk about the food but frankly that's been already so I won't bother. What I will say is that they have the best, most incredibly phenomenal chocolate brownies that the world has ever known. Also the coffee they sell is good stuff too! On another note the staff are perfectly wonderful. They are friendly, they are helpful and they actually seem to enjoy working there. Having said that, if I got to sit with chocolate brownies all day I'm fairly sure I'd enjoy it too :) You might wonder why I only gave 4 stars. The answer is that they don't appear to do macaroons any more, or at least they didn't the last time I went in. A small thing but a thing nonetheless.
