I recently purchased a house and asked Bradbury's to perform an inspection and service on my boiler. I was scheduled within a week, which is remarkable, as other trades are a month or more out. The technician who came out, Owen, was extremely courteous, professional and knowledgeable. He did a thorough inspection and cleaning. Very impressed. Great job Owen! our water tank spung a leak late in the day, water all over the basement floor. Called and left message for service. Bradbury's called us first thing in the morning and scheduled service for a couple hours later. Prompt and Charlie was very pleasant and fixed everything quickly. Very reasonable. opened the house for the season and had a broken pipe. they did something amazing, they answered the phone sent someone right out did the job. The charge was reasonable the work fixed our pipe and everything went as it should. This is not what we are use to these days its called service and they get 5 stars. read more

The plumber came on time and finished the various projects quickly. He even found another problem that had to be immediately addressed. I was very happy and pleased with his workmanship and timeliness getting the whole project completed. He explained every step of each project. I have added them to my contractor call list. Just had a new oil tank installed by Bradburys of Raymond ,Me. Clean ,efficient and great crew Evan ,Phil and Bert. On time and very clean !Phil answered many questions for me . Alrighty, my third review for Bradbury's Plumbing & Heating in Raymond, ME and I STILL give them 5 stars. The short version - if you need a plumber for emergency work or for a home improvement project, you could not wish for a more professional, knowledgeable team of guys. Just call them. The long version: I'll start at the beginning: We were looking at houses to buy in Maine and stumbled across our dream house but it had been empty for 2 years and the pipes had frozen causing all sorts of leaks and damage to the house. We knew if we got the house (it was a short sale) we'd need some plumbing work but we had no idea how much. Our realtor (Tom from Mr Lakeside - awesome guy) recommended Bradbury's and they worked on a very limited budget to give us a very broad overview of what we'd be getting into if we bought the house. After we closed I had them come back to get everything up and running. It was a little worse than we expected but they made the whole painful process a lot more painless. They showed up on time everyday, little things like removing their shoes and cleaning up as they worked, they kept us updated on what they'd found, what the estimated costs were. Seriously amazing. They were in and out of the house for about a month and I would have happily given them keys had I not been there. Completely trustworthy and professional. A few months after everything was up and running normally I called to check on some weird noises coming from the pipes and Charlie personally came out to check we didn't have air in the system. A few weeks ago we had an issue with frozen pipes and they were out within hours, they found a way to access the frozen pipe through a closet vs. cutting a big hole in the wall of the kitchen . I would recommend them without hesitation to anyone looking for a hardworking, trustworthy, knowledgeable and professional plumbing and heating company. read more

I'm very impressed with Bradbury's. The thing I like most about them is that they don't hold their knowledge over your head. They don't try to use lots of industry lingo they know you won't understand in order to intimidate. They will do a thorough search to get to the root of the problem and then explain what's going in in the simplest of terms. The stone and steel water heater in our basement finally gave out, and we needed a new one installed, or so we thought. I immediately went online and searched for a local plumber. I found Bradbury's Plumbing & Heating, located in Raymond where we live, and placed a call to them after reading a good review on the company. When I called, I reached a friendly, live person, not a recording! She immediately gave me the cell phone number for "Charlie" and I called him, told him my plight, and asked if he could help. After giving me assurances that I probably would not need a new tank, but that he could repair the old tank I, he said he would get to our house the same day. That was good news indeed, as we weren't looking forward to another morning of cold showers. As promised, he went to our house, mindful of the indoor cat, repaired the tank, and left everything spotless. When I arrived home from work the only evidence that anyone had been in the house was glorious hot water coming from the faucet! He installed only the parts necessary instead of selling us a new tank, or unnecessary 'extras.' I would highly recommend Charlie and his crew if you need an honest, responsive, professional plumbing and heating company. read more

I went through 3 different plumbers before I found Bradbury's. We were attempting to find the source of a leak. After being told by other plumbers that we needed to replace the entire bathtub in our guest bathroom (at a cost of $6,000-$10,000), and by other plumbers that just a little caulk would solve our problem, we finally came across Bradbury's. He was completely systematic and determined in his approach to finding our problem. He stayed for 1-2 hours searching for the source, and finally found it in our master shower. We had our shower tile pulled up and it was soaked underneath, confirming Bradbury's hypothesis. Who knows what would have happened if we hadn't found them?! I would highly, highly recommend them and will be using them for all of our future plumbing needs. read more

It's difficult dealing with a plumbing emergency when you live 6 hours away. Adult daughter calls from cottage in Naples citing 4 inches of water in basement. After turning off water pump and hot water heater, (couldn't plug in sump pump because electrical outlet soaked along with water lines covered with heat tape) water still seem to rise. Artesian well could be backfilling from well line. Not being familiar with the area, I called at least five plumbers, after hours, left messages. Only one returned my call, Charlie Bradbury. Given the hour and the lousy, icy road conditions, he couldn't promise that his on-duty person, would be available, but after listening to my concerns, increasing water levels, electrical inference, etc., he promised to do his best. A few minutes later, Phil called, and said that although it might take an hour to get to the cottage because of road conditions, he would leave his family, children, and the safety of his home and venture forth to at least assess the situation, turn off all incoming water supplies so the situation wouldn't get worst, make the repairs if it wasn't too involved,and/ or return the next day to finish the job. I'll finish my review tomorrow, but I have to credit and give high marks to this firm for responding to my emergency, (especially since I am not a regular customer- but I will be), and assisting my daughter in her calamity. read more
