Dit is het grootste overdekte shoppingcenter van België met 240 winkels, een winkeloppervlakte van 57.000 m2 verspreid over 3 verdiepen en een parkeerplaats voor 1500 wagens. Wijnegem shopping Center is groot, heel groot en ondertussen ook een nationaal begrip geworden. Merken als H&M, Zara home, Vero Moda, Villa, Mc Gregor, Noppies, Hema, Morgan en veel horeca gelegenheden hebben zich er met veel plezier gevestigd. Tip: Ga bij het binnenkomen even lang de infobalie voor een grondplan. Je kan in Wijnegem shopping center echt verloren lopen.

You don't have to worry about the parking, because there is a really big parking. It's a very nice place, because they adapt to the holidays. Now that it's Christmas there is a very beautiful Christmas tree. There are so many shops like Footlocker, Zara, New look and many more shops. And if you get hungry after all that shopping you also have so much choice what you could eat there.The employees there are also very friendly. It has 4 floors so you can easily get lost, but it has a big screen on each floor with the groundplan on it, which I find very useful when I'm looking for a store. The toilets are very clean. In the winter it's warm and in the summer it's fresh. unfortunately there are only a limited amount of trams and buses that go there. On some days there are a lot of people and it's very busy. If you are looking for a place to spend a day with your family, Wijnegem shopping centre is definitely a must.

Wow, just jaw dropping in terms of what one can do with the internal design of a mall!…read more I had looked up Stadsfeestzaal (What a name) beforehand and knew I was not going to spend a day here, more so along the lines of less than an hour. With that said, we found it with ease and once we walked into the main hall we realized it was well worth it! Very glamorous from the gold painted beams to the articulate painted walls and ceiling. I was one of many who just dropped my jaw to the floor and started taking pictures right away. After a few minutes of "wowing", you immediately realize something off..There are no luxury stores at all! This is the perfect spot for the big name brands, yet they bring is lackluster stores that barely would attract many at all, big disappointment. If you are a regular shopper, it is a decent stop, but for someone like me who just is not into it, I ended up staying for half an hour before moving on. End result, shock and awe, followed by a few photos and running for the near exit.

DO NOT BUY HERE! Does not even deserve the 1 star…read more Went to the store (Lochristi) for a new sofa. Were very friendly and helped us with choosing our sofa. Added two other smaller items (small trolley and foot rest). Delivery date was set for Januari 4th. Delivery was free because of the expensive purchase. The whole amount had to be paid immediatly otherwise they would not create the order. Should have known then and there something was off. Delivery was postponed (email), no reason given. Delivery was postponed again (email). We called and found out it was because they didn't have the foot rest in stock. Went to the store, found the foot rest, had it removed from the order and took it with us immediatly. Delivery was then set for a wednesday, which we told is the only day that is absolutely impossible for us. Replied to the email didn't change anything. Had to call customer sevice and explain it was not possible, before another date for delivery was scheduled. Spoke to customer service twice and asked specifically if my old sofa would be taken on delivery of the new one. Both times the answer was 'YES'. Sofa and trolley delivered February 15th. Old sofa not taken. Called customer service, they acknowledged it was their fault, but refused to offer any sollution. Even the delivery company (not Maison du Monde) tried to find a sollution by having their office call Maison du Monde for a pick up and destruction order but Maison du Monde flat out refused. Assembly: at the store they told us it would be assembled for us. Well that didn't happen. Nuts, bolts, screws, ... all the wrong amounts. Assembly instructions for the sofa bad; for the trolley it was wrong. Managed to assemble it anyway. And they should see themselves the instructions are wrong because you can't complete the instructions with the pieces listed on that same instruction manual. Damage to the wood, non- supporting structure, of the sofa on 2 different locations.
