But when it comes to being agile, communications are really important. For an example I should not get a home listing from a realtor and when I ask a question about it. The Realtor would ask me to ask the lender for answers. Then when I call or email the lender. I get no response. Or if I get a response the lender will respond on their own time like a week later. Well good luck to them. I'm sure they are awesome duel and wish them nothing but success. Any way let's talk about REMAX!! I met a super awesome Lender name Kyle that I'm working with, that works with REMAX. When I entered the building, the receptionist greeted and offered water. I asked for coffee, and she walked me to their kitchen. I made my own coffee : ) (Thanks!!!!) Then I met Jessie. Jessie was referred from my Lender Kyle and all three of us been texting back and forth. Now that's what I'm talking about!!! Finally, I met Jessie in person today and she is excellent!!! Our realtor was none other than the man, the myth, the legend himself, Bryan Huff. Needless to say he and his team did not disappoint! All interactions with any of the staff were exceptionally pleasant as they were very communicative, attentive, accommodating, knowledgeable and kind! They were just on top of their game every time we needed something. I'm not sure about any of the other realtors under him but based off our experience, Bryan went above and beyond for us and he didn't have to. I won't say what he did exactly because I don't want to put that expectation out there. So, during negotiations we came to a standstill with the buyer. Bryan came up with a new proposal which "somehow" didn't cost us anything extra and because of this we eventually came to an agreement and closed. If there was one complaint it would be the photographer. We basically had everything staged accordingly but obviously we were still living there and utilizing our home daily. We had made everything that was used daily compact and mobile so we could leave at a moments notice for a showing. So photo day came and I let the photographer know if something looks unsightly let me know and I can move it temporarily for the photos. When it came time for us to review the photos, they were great. The issue was that there was a bunch of "unsightly objects" my wife and did not want shown ie: basket of dirty laundry, cords for our bedroom TVs and a couple items in our backyard. This wasn't a huge deal because when we let him know he was able to edit everything out within an hour or two for us to approve and finalize. Overall I recommend them!

We hired this realtor as our Selling Agent. His people skills are subpar. He spends no time with…read moreyou as a client. He told us to list our house for 136,000 in the current market. I told him that is what I paid for the house five years ago. We will list the home for $157300. What do you know, I was write, upon being listed on the MLS, we had a buyer make an offer for $157300 three hours later. No thanks to Taner, he did nothing. I spent 2.5 hours with the buyer. But through the whole month process. Taner was invisible. I cannot believe I even had to pay him. Taner will never call you by phone. He will either text you or facebook messenger you. You will never speak to him again after signing the contract. SO don't sign the contract with him. When the offer came in, with a deadline of 5 pm on it, there were things I did not agree to on it. We frantically tried to get ahold of our realtor to ask questions. WE texted, facebook messaged, called and left voice mails, emailed him, every way possible, but he just ignored us for the entire day. He should know as a Realtor, that when an offer comes in that the seller is going to have questions and should make himself available. Then after all the inspections were performed, there was only one repair request, that buyer had made. I wanted to see the inspection results of the septic system before agreeing to it. However, Taner my Realtor, acted like he did not have it and witheld it from me. He was disrespectful to my wife and I. He insulted our home, saying I cannot believe you got a full price offer. Let's hope it appraises for that. Every step of the way, step by step, things just got worse and worse. If he has ten years experience, it certainly does not show. Then he blocked my wife and I from being able to leave him a review, on his facebook page. If you look at his facebook page, he even left a review for himself. Some of his five star reviews were left by his family members, college friends, loan officers, his girlfriend and his own brother. I am assuming not one of those reviews is from an actual customer. His reviews are what got us to hire him. So I am warning you folks of Kansas City now, beware. You have been warned. Then since some of my friends left reviews on his facebook page, I was able to comment on those. Which I did. I am trying to protect others from what my wife and I experienced. It was the worst 30 days of our lives and probably aged us both by five years. My wife cried several times over his actions. We both lost tons of sleep. He even contacted the local authorities and made a false police report that I was harrassing him and his family, messaging them on facebook, which is 100% not true. People please, use your due diligence and check your realtor our fully before hiring, ask for references and contact those references. After two weeks of working with him, we fired him and had he VP, of Platinum Realty, Dennis Perkins handle the rest of our deal. Although he did not appreciated being pulled into the middle of it he did it. Without Dennis Perkins, my deal would have never closed and we would of lost our buyer.

Was asked to sign an offer before receiving the disclosure clauses, then had to support my concerns while being told 'I was getting a good deal'. After signing the intent to buy contract, never heard from her again. Had to request a final walk through. We love our home, but hated the experience we were exposed to while trying to find common ground. Probably because they were representing the seller as well as ourselves.

Andrew was a great realtor and gave me expert advice throughout the process: how to price it, what needed updating, how to be patient and wait for the right offer (not easy!), and how to negotiate when I did get an offer. He was very responsive, always kept a level head, and was very good at explaining things to me--I'd only sold one house before, and that was 15 years ago. His office staff were always helpful and professional and overall just great to deal with. Finally concluded the sale at a great price, and the deal is all wrapped up. Big relief! I'd gladly recommend him to anyone. You won't be disappointed.

He proceeded to say that because I did not respond to his email, that it was my fault that he lost a commission. It was extremely unprofessional and immature to be blamed for his loss in commission when I was only inquiring about a rental property through Zillow. I had never spoken with him before this and did not hire an agent for my search. I was very disappointed that he blamed me for his pit falls and hope that this doesn't reflect the rest of the group. David is not someone I would ever work with or recommend in the future.
