I've been going to Braiding Image for years, but lately, the quality has gone downhill. The last three times I visited, I requested SMALL KNOTLESS BOHO BRAIDS with small parts, and each time I left disappointed. The parts were big as hell and the braids were small -- exactly the opposite of what I asked for. Each visit, I made it clear that I wanted small parts, and I even sent a picture for reference. This last visit was the final straw. What I received looked nothing like the picture I sent. I paid $340 for small knotless Boho braids with small parts and full Boho mid-back length, and the result did not match what I requested or paid for. I gave this salon three chances to get it right, and each time I was let down. If they don't want to take the time to do small parts and small braids, they should be honest about it instead of wasting people's time and money. I will never return to this salon and would not recommend them to anyone. If you want someone who takes the time to give you exactly what you ask for, I suggest finding another braider. read more

On November 26,2024, I spoke to a lady on the phone who assured me she could braid my hair exactly like the picture I showed her and promised to personally do my hair. However, when I arrived, she had someone else attempt the braids, and I was not happy with the results. I politely pointed out that the braids were too thin and didn't look right. As I sat there, I realized she had no intention of continuing with my hair. When I asked if she was still going to do it, she flat-out said no, and her tone was rude. To make matters worse, she started packing up my belongings without even explaining what was going on. I'm spending $200 on this hairstyle, so of course, I expect it to be done properly. If she couldn't meet my expectations, she should have been honest from the beginning. What hurt even more was that the lady I initially spoke to was there but didn't advocate for me. Instead, she made excuses for the stylist. I was respectful and calm throughout the situation--I've done nothing wrong. I even thanked God my hair wasn't halfway done because that would have been a waste of money, but there was no reason to stop the appointment or pack up my things without a conversation. It also felt like the rest of the staff backed her up, as if she wasn't in the wrong. I just wanted my braids done properly, and it's so disappointing that the person I trusted didn't even have the decency to inform me that she wouldn't be doing my hair herself. The way I was treated, especially in front of other customers, was embarrassing and hurtful. Her attempt to cover up for the stylist only made me feel more emotional. I left work early to make it to this appointment, only to have my time wasted. Now I have to go back to work later today, and my entire birthday plan is ruined because of their lack of professionalism and communication. This experience has been so frustrating and disheartening. I found this place through TikTok, and I'm deeply disappointed. I wanted to look nice for my birthday! I was so calm and respectful, and that's what hurts me the most.
