We paid for the car wash inside, but you can pay on the outside at the kiosk beside the car wash. The process is very simple. My only issue was at the end of the car wash the timer confused me. I didn't know if it was for the end of the service or until the next part but I figured it out with a little time to spare. For the car wash you simply pull your car in and park your car and the car wash does the rest. I was satisfied with the car wash and the price. The gas station seems pretty new for the area and offers all of the amenities you could ever want in a gas station. Love's has been consistently reliable for clean restrooms, and this location lived up to that reputation without any fuss. Their snack selection was solid too, with the usual mix of grab-and-go items that make it easy to get back on the road without losing momentum. Fuel prices were competitive for the area, which I always appreciate, but since I still had about 1/2 a tank left I decided to wait for a lower region to fill up. It's nice to have the option though, and the pump layout here makes it easy to pull in and out without feeling boxed in by traffic. They also have the long stick squeegees so I can get the entire windshield on the Sprinter. The station sits directly off the highway, which makes it one of those effortless exits where you're not wandering through a maze of frontage roads. They share the building with a McDonald's if that's your style, and if not, there's an Arby's and a Starbucks right next door, so you've got choices without having to rejoin traffic or hunt around. The same blades are available online for just $9.00 each. I feel completely ripped off by Take 5. When I called the Lexington location to address this price gouging, I was told nothing could be done because the prices are "set by corporate." I then reached out to Take 5's customer service, hoping they'd resolve the issue. Instead, they claimed I didn't have any recourse and there's no phone number for me to contact corporate directly. This entire experience has been disappointing, and after this blatant overcharge, I'll never return to Take 5 Oil Change. I would strongly advise anyone else to do the same.
