I order two blue brembo brake calipers and had them on my car for about three months and noticed the power coat was flaking off. I called the company and they wanted me to take them off and send them back at my cost. After thinking about it a couple days, I tried to call them back and costumer service would not call me back. I email and left messages with no response. This is the worst company I have ever dealt with. I payed 620$ for this product. Ordered a replacement caliper for my challenger. We texted and agreed on the replacement, they sent the wrong one. The one I received looked like it had been dipped in silver paint. They refused to take the caliper back, "We don't do returns on Brembos" I never even took it out of the box to see it was the wrong caliper. Nothing but a bunch of crooks and liars. Scammers. I ordered some "powdercoated" calipers and rotors from them. Paint started chipping off immediately. Clearly not powdercoated. Rotors were clearly sprayed with a rattle can and seized the brakes when the paint melted under the pads. AVOID! read more

quality of these parts is substandard... ordered brembo four piston brake calipers for my2022 dodge charger... that were supposedly "powder coated black" ...only to find out they were cheaply painted with a rattlecan spray paint that started peeling and chipping away almost immediately. read more

I am trying to wrap my head around the junk this company just sent me. Rotors were hand painted with Rustolium. Calipers WERE NOT powdercoated, as stated. They even sent me the wrong rotors and the replacements were just as trashy. $1000 down the hole. read more

This company has the absolute worst Customer Service ive ever dealt with. They phone number goes directly to a voice recorder to leave a message, you will never get a callback (still waiting for mine) They will only respond via email if you're lucky. And good luck getting any kind of refund, they stopped responding to me once i requested one and ive still yet to receive any response from them even after the products being returned and sending proof they were returned. Found the best price on my left front caliper on Brakeworlds website. I ordered it immediately & then noticed all the bad reviews a few days later. I was very concerned that the product would never show up or be junk. The part did take 10 days to arrive, but I ordered it on a holiday weekend & it was stuck at the Nashville UPS facility due to weather for a week. The part was installed yesterday & appears to be good. I am relieved & hope I made the right decision for $290.00. read more

One word, disaster!! Purchased powder coated calipers. When I opened the box they were chipped. Powder coating doesn't chip. Brakeworld later used the term "ceramic paint", which is not the same. In less than 1 year the calipers have rusted. A complaint was filed with the BBB. Separately, both front calipers broke within that first year! No warranty at all. Complete junk. read more

I placed an order by phone instead of on their website after learning about them from their ad in Road & Track. Unfortunately, I could find no online reviews of this vendor beforehand. They did a good job of quickly emailing an invoice. They also quickly billed by credit card and some parts were not immediately available. The sale rep John gave a specific date when the parts would arrive at Brakeworld's warehouse from their vendor. That date came & went with no follow-up email or call to me by anyone. During this time I called an online competitor who quoted a significantly lower price for several parts, and quickly received their emailed quote. I then called Brakeworld to cancel my order, the sale rep asked why so I explained but didn't state the parts or competitor bids. The sales rep said he would notify customer service to do so, and he or the csr would email &/or call confirming the credit has been sent to my card. I requested the customer service department's direct dial to follow up & he was evasive. Neither has occurred to date. I've experienced much better customer service from customer facing online retailers & will not purchase from this company again. read more

Normally I don't post bashing small companies because I appreciate entrepreneurs, but terrible service is just that. To the car community Brakeworld.com is the most unprofessional set of individuals I have come across. They sold me calibers that were leaking brake fluid, and failed to reconcile it. It's harder to hold smaller companies accountable, because there is no corporate to hold these companies accountable for what's being sold, but I will do diligence to inform future buyers of the poor quality, and services of brake world. This company is disgusting. We ordered brake pads through their system which said our car took a specific type. However after going to have them put on we received the wrong ones. They have denied an exchange and even a refund. This is not how to treat customers on the companies mistake. How are they still in business? I saw a recent ad for them in Motor Trend and went to their site to see for myself and couldn't believe what I saw. Years ago I bought two pairs of what was supposed to be Brembo slotted and drilled rotors. The box they came in weren't Brembo. Come to find out Brembo doesn't make BOTH drilled and slotted. It's either one or the other. At least the Brakeworld.com site now notes that THEY drill or slot the rotors, but how does this not void any manufacturer warranty by doing this? Since I couldn't get any communication from them via phone or email, I disputed the charge with my credit card company along with a letter from my mechanic stating that they were misrepresented and I was given my money back.
