In a rush, we arrived with no prior appointment and they saw to her car virtually straight away. The atmosphere was friendly and relaxed and the guys were happy to help. The tyres only cost £15.00 per tyre, as they were reconditioned tyres (often from emergency service vehicles apparently) and the red lines were still showing which showed that they were still new. The whole experience lasted not even fifteen minutes, and although they only take cash, they were more than happy for us to go away to draw some out. Perfect!

Apparently a lack of oil, which they topped up for me. 'Take it fer a run t'coast' , they suggested one sunny spring weekend, which is exactly what I was doing. 'It might be old but if you keep using it, it'll last'. It was great to hear something positive from this garage rather than the usual suggestions that I should just buy a new one!

The most embarrassing time was when I thought my windscreen wiper had broken and wanted to get new ones. It turned out that someone had just tried to pull them off so all the guy in the garage had to do was fix them back on. So I didn't have to buy any new ones and he didn't mock me for going in for such a minor thing! I'm certainly no car expert so places like this are very useful.

Ooh and once, when I lived on Victoria Road, my car wouldn't start, and it was something to do with a little button down in the passenger footwell, and the Alba man came to my house, fixed it, and didn't charge me. They then told me the price included Mobile Tyre fitting at my home or work, what a bonus. I saved loads of money and also saved loads of time as I didn't have to go to a Tyre Depot and waste a couple of hours of my day. I had the tyres fitted at work, the Tyre fitter turned up on time and changed the tyres in the car park. Would recommend and would definitely use again in the future. I used to get a few quotes for things from different places and they were always cheapest so now I just go to them straight away. They never try and rip me off or tell me the car needs more doing than it does, and the whole process is normally quick (they always seem to be able to do the job straight away) and straight forward. I have no reason to stop using them. Last time I used them it was for tyre replacements and the tyres they fitted on my car were good quality and several months later they're not really worn at all.
