But they don't tell you that when you're ordering Brunch they tell you when you're getting a refill . Then She tells me that I have to pay for my Coffee . Brandon's Diner really came through when we were pressed for time. We needed to order some food to go for some loved ones staying at the nearby hospital. We ordered in the bar area, and it was quite busy. However, we were attended to right away with friendly service. While we waited, my husband and I each had a drink. We brought back a turkey sandwich and albondigas soup to our relatives, and they loved the food. The bar area had a great ambiance with oldies playing. I would definitely eat and drink here. We loved this place from the start. We've been customers for almost 3 years. The excellent food options, the staff and service keeps us coming back. All the servers are excellent, but our regular server, Alicia, is beyond outstanding! She's friendly, efficient and she nails our order every time, she really takes care of us! First and foremost is 10:00 am and they are blaring some hillbilly music, and I asked the waitress why are you guys playing the music so loud, she responded we have changed and this is the way we operate now. WTF? Next I asked for my favorite skillet to discover is no longer available, at that point I told the waitress, you changed the menu and you're playing this shitty music I'm out. I wanted this to work. Today was my second time here and it sucked. It all started with the first time I visited about 6 months ago, I ordered the French toast at the recommendation of the waitress. Well long story short they adde SALT instead of sugar or something according to the same waitress who recommended it. IT was HORRIBLE!!! It took my wife and I several months to stop talking about it. The good thing about this spot is they a variety of food you can choose from. The bad thing is their prices are not reasonable. I ordered a cheeseburger, upgraded the fries to chili cheese fries which was a small portion and a Reuben sandwich with comes with a small salad instead of fries. Oh and got a coke for $3.95 The grand total was $43 bucks and let me tell you the food is nothing special. I have been dining at Brandon's Diner for several years on a fairly irregular basis. In the past, dad and I would go to Brandon's in Upland for a ride and breakfast. The food is good, the wait staff friendly, the restaurant is clean and the coffee flows freely. Service was exceptional always staff on the floor and active. Our server Genesis was effervescent and attentive to our table. They have a bar as well as a buffet set up the Saturday we visited. First time to be in this restaurant... We were seated right away. The front desk personnel explained their menu options. (Hubby ordered French toast and added eggs and sausage (additional $4) I ordered strawberry and banana crepes. Food were superb quality. A bit pricey, but that's what you pay for the quality. We go to Brandon's quite often. Usually to go orders. But dine in as well numerous times!! The employees are always nice and the atmosphere is casual, not stuffy at all. They have a large menu, there's something for everybody. Note: If you decide on breakfast (which they serve all hours) Try the Cinnamon Revolution French Toast!! You won't regret it!! Disappointed..I used to love coming to Brandon's. Vivi was my most recent waitress and she was so kind and attentive. The service was the best part of this experience. I don't know what happened recently but the cleanliness of Brandon's has declined greatly. The floor was filled with half eaten food and trash, definitely wasn't appetizing staring at old food on the floor. They need to clean in between costumers or something.
