He lead us to believe that he was a licensed plumber, and could plumb in our tub/shower and laundry. After our first inspection failed, he claimed he was bringing in a licensed plumber to do the job right "come to find out gene is not a licensed plumber ". But he had the guy at 541 plumber show up to my house and ACT like he was doing something (I believe gene payed him to stand there because gene knew we needed a licensed plumber, and the 541 guy was a willing participant ), resulting in another failed inspection. We had to finally get our own licensed plumber to do the job, and pay it out of our own pocket. We have basically paid for the job twice. And we are being charged $95 for the additional inspection. He claimed he'd pay us back for the plumber, but the check he wrote never cleared and we tried twice. Then gene informed me he was quitting the job and putting a stop payment on the check he told me I would get my money whenever he decided he could pay me, acting like I was the bad guy. This will be a small claims court case. Buyer beware!

They showed up the very next day to bid the job and again were super friendly and very professional. They bid the job and said that I was about a month and a half out. I said great and showed them on their way out. I called later that day to ask to be officially put on the books and to have a quote for the bid written out and emailed to me for my records. Crystal said no problem and said it would be sent out that day. That day went by with no quote sent to my email...... At this point I gave them a call to which I was ignored... I repeated this process for 5 days over the weekend into the new week. FINALLY Crystal answered the phone to inform me due to "scheduling conflicts" they decided not to honor the bid. And decided not to work the job at all. SO even though I was not even on the schedule yet and was flexible with my scheduling dates I was informed that my job would NOT be possible due to "scheduling conflicts".... This all sounds like a load of bull and I am just beyond shocked at the way this company conducts themselves.

The closets look fantastic and all I have to do is paint. He also was able to repair a closet expansion that a previous handy man had done and made it look seamless. His price point was super reasonable. Not only that, he was just a nice person to work with & he was super great with my dog. Bought a house sight unseen in Myrtle Creek OR from central rural Iowa and learned the garage door…read morewas not working from an inspection. Did a garage door repair search of Myrtle Creek and was pleased to find Mike's service. Mike showed up and restored life into the old Craftsman double door lift and gave me an exellent tutorial on the unit and programmed the keyless entry, which was going to be my only entry, then later when I got to my Oregon home I found two remotes and after replacing the batteries in both, one came to life, but not the other. I called Mike and he walked me through getting the remote relearned over the phone. The opener and remotes worked flawlessly for a dozen days then today the Opener developed a mind of its own both opening and sometimes closing all on its own. Another call to Mike and again he walked me through troubleshooting for recovery over the phone. He is so experienced he can describe the process over the phone in such a way that anyone can follow along and make their own diagnostics and repair. Mike's Garage Door and Opener business has truely impressed me with his knowledge and customer service aimed at SAVING ME MONEY while bringing my situation back under control. This is the kind of business model you want from all of your contractor's. Competent repairs with excellent customer service!

Nick changed the first 2 appointments we had with him, thus wasting our time since we had set aside time to meet with him. Finally, the third time he set an appointment with us, he was over an hour late, again most disrespectful even though we were trying to give him one last opportunity to bid our job. After spending over an hour with him, he promised to have a quote for us by the following Tuesday (this last meeting was on a Thursday). When we received nothing by the following Thursday, 2 days after we expected his quote, I left a message to please let us know status. He did not return our call. I left him 2 subsequent messages over 2 weeks, asking what is going on, but he did not bother to respond. In the last message, I asked him that if he no longer wants to bid the job, he could at least simply have the decency and professional courtesy to let us know. That was almost a week ago. AND STILL HE HAS NEVER CONTACTED US AFTER WASTING SO MUCH OF OUR TIME! This is a rather stark indication of the true character, or lack thereof, of this individual and what you can expect if you engage him. We strongly recommend you go somewhere else. Lord knows what may have occurred if we had given a deposit and hired someone such as this who demonstrates such an incredible lack of respect for others! We are in Grants Pass, NOT NEVADA.
