The next morning we heard from Lovelace and they said they would get someone out that day. The technician arrived approximately at 6pm. He worked very hard in a not attic and found that the fan motor was burned out. He was not able to get a new fan until Monday. The new technician, Chris, came out mid-day and installed the fan very rapidly. He also fixed additional issues with the wiring on the fan in a pro-active manner without me asking him to do this. He then also flushed out the lines draining from the system which also were above the call of duty. I am very thankful to Chris and his team for their great support. First off, when I decided to have my 20+ year old refrigerator fixed, I wasn't sure with whom to…read morego with. I did call everyone in town and ask how much for an estimate. Everyone charges about the same amount to come out and tell you what is wrong with an appliance. Danny at AAA charges less. So, I decided to use him first and see what happened. Boy am I glad I did! He ran a little late that day. But he called and let me know that and asked if it was ok. That's a plus, it's respectful. When he got here he went right to work. I was able to ask him questions and he let me stand there and watch him work. He didn't mind at all. I really enjoyed being able to learn while he took apart my freezer. It turned out that my fridge's freezer's heater needed a part. So, he replaced it and got things running again, like new. While we were talking I learned that he continually takes classes to learn all the new appliance models that come on the market. So he's well versed in even the fridges with televisions and internet in them. I also learned what makes the newer appliances energy star and why sometimes that's not a good thing. You have a difference of currency and things can get easily overloaded and blown. I also had my suspicions about the new fridges confirmed. The fancier and more electronics they have on them, the more likely they will break down. Also, the french doors, especially where the ice has to move up, tend to have issues. I'd read that online in forums before, as well. It was a really educational experience all around. I paid less than 200 dollars for the part, repair, and the knowledge. His work is guaranteed for 30 days. So, when our fridge seemed to be having the same issue, I called him back and was pleasantly surprised to find that out. He came out the same day and it was the other part, that it could have been the first time around. So he went to the truck, got the part, and fixed it right then and there. No extra charge. What a life saver! Do you know how hard it is to store a family's food supply in two coolers! It sucks! So I am very thankful for his help and great work. I will forever use him, as long as Danny is in business. I will also keep my old fridge. It's bigger, over 25 cubic feet, then most fridges now. So why buy a new one when you can just get it fixed? You'll have to fix the new fangled one in a matter of months anyhow. And when you do, go to Danny at AAA Appliance Repair. Don't go to Sears, or any other company. I received multiple quotes and discussed the project with 3 flooring contractors. Wayne was the most knowledgeable and gave us a fair price. Wayne had excellent communication. I normally get very frustrated with contractors because they change the schedule along the way, don't show up on time, etc. Wayne did none of that, the ultimate professional. For the 2nd project, I didn't even get quotes from other contractors because I trust Wayne and knew he'd do a great job for a fair price. He replaced 1000 square foot of carpet with 3/4" hickory hardwood. We had a 2 week gap between buying our new house and moving out of our old house.
