Bugs were apparent both alive and dead - a can of roach spray was in the kitchen cabinet so they know they have a problem. Our unit reminders me of a fishing camp of Grand Isle in Louisiana - a place for guys and a lot of beer to over look the sub-handyman build outs. There are some nice views of the lake. My group talked about leaving for a real hotel at about 11:00 pm but everyone had a couple of drinks so we decided to stay. The place is somewhat a work in progress and there is evidence of renovation - hope they get it together. Note: the queen size beds in our unit seemed like double size - if we come again I will request a renovated unit and bring our own pillows.

Dylan Osmon did not return our security deposit. We ultimately had to take him to small claims court. He was not a good landlord. I lived in raw sewage over a weekend on two different occasions. The ventilation was so bad that mold was growing on my personal belongings because the humidity was so high. I was told that I was only allowed to run one appliance at a time in the kitchen because it would trip the breaker. This place is not equipped to handle long term stays. Just because you slap new paint, floors, and cabinets doesn't make it live able.

He wanted to come in our cabin to "look at a door," but all he did was walk around and look at all of our things, then leave without saying a word. He walked around outside our cabin almost daily with a chainsaw. Never greeted us or acted friendly at all. We were extremely creeped out that he had a key to our cabin and put a chair in front of the door at night. The owner was a very nice elderly lady and we didn't complain to her because she seemed overwhelmed.
