If however you are looking to have a laugh and are prepared to combat the noise of a music quiz then this is the place to go. Whilst for what you get this maybe a little pricey it was a good place to eat and the helpfulness of the staff was a real bonus.

You order at the bar and pay upfront, before your food is served. Not even five minutes after ordering our food was ready which was the first red flag. We paid over 400 sek for two burgers and drinks and got a fast food quality meal that wasn't worth half that. The bread was stale, the cheese was wrinkled and looked kinda like it had been microwaved and the burger was dry. The fries were unsalted. If they screw up a burger this badly I shudder to think of what their other dishes would be like. Needless to say we won't be back - if you find yourself in Vaxjo when most restaurants are closed save yourself some money and go to a drive through or grocery store instead of wasting your time at the Bishops arms.
