You can always find something you like in here and the staff are always very helpful. There are usually sales on so you can try to pick up a bargain. Primark offers a wide range of clothing and accessories for every age; male and female! This location is really good with numerous floors of hidden gems. There are also cash tills all over the store, so if one queue is super long, just head to another level and find one that isn't. The customer service here is either really great or good. But I've never experienced anyone who didn't care about me or was rude. There are no toilets, but the Starbucks across the way might let you use theirs. Some hidden seating for The Spouse... but best to go alone or have them meet you towards the end of your shop. I tend to get carried away with all the cheap and discount deals and could be there for hours!

It's not the tidiest shop I've ever been in, but there are some real gems to be found if you're prepared to rummage and the prices are excellent! The shop is laid out very higgledy piggledy but this is partly because it's such a small shop and they want to obviously get as much stuff in it as possible. The selection of ladies clothes is excellent and I always find something to buy whenever I go in. The sizes are always mixed up and not clearly marked, but again it's worth having a sort through the clothes because they generally have a good range of sizes in most of the items. Clothes are grouped in dresses, tops, trousers, tracksuits etc but again garments are often in the wrong place so you really do have to have a proper look around. The mens selection is usually rubbish, but mens clothes are so cheap to buy brand new these days (unlike womens clothes!) that I wouldn't really buy my fella anything from any charity shop unless it was something special. There is a small range of childrens clothes, mainly baby clothes but these are usually in near perfect condition so I often buy my seventeen month old daughter bits and pieces from PDSA. My recent bargain was five Next tops for her which only cost 75p each and two of them were brand new as they still had the tags on. There is sometimes somthing for my nine year old, but not often as the shop seems to stock mainly younger childrens clothes. I'm lucky I have girls' because the selection for lads is nowhere near as good, males just are not lucky in this shop at all! I always browse the books in PDSA and usually buy a couple as they are well priced at 75p - 99p for a paperback, there are always lots of books to choose from from older dusty tomes to brand new thrillers and chick-lit. There are the usual soft toys for sale from around 20p, but it's usually a load of rubbish so I don't tend to buy them unless my daughter is miserable in her pram and then I may get one to keep her entertained. Likewise the homewares, there isn't often anything to interest me as I find the ornaments a little old fashioned but occasionally I will see something I like and buy it for about £1. The staff are really nice in this branch of PDSA, they are usually older ladies who are happy to chat and are so polite to their customers. They always seem so grateful for your purchase, which is a breath of fresh air when you consider most shops take your money with a grunt these days! I know the way I've described parts of the PDSA sound like criticisms, but really they're not. I love rummaging through the clothes to find my size and have found some lovely surprise items, I think it's the thrill of the chase which leads me to shop in here as I never quite know where the next gem is going to come from!

They do a selection of designer wear from ted baker, fcuk, pal frank etc etc.tshirts, shirts trousers dress shoes etc etc they have it all. The staff are cool, and know thier labels, and also are great at ordering stuff in from the ranges they do even if they are not showing it in store. Debenhams are still a large store with 178 stores in The UK, Ireland and Denmark and were founded back in 1778. This branch of Debenhams is located in the Bullring mall, with enterences from both street and mall level, it is a decent sized store too. The lifts here were pretty slow, and they didn't show much signal of it working, and although it was, I didn't know it was in use, so I nearly just walked away, which was disappointing It is quite a large store with a Brow Bar, Salon and Cafe and quite a few floors as well. I didn't have any close encounters with staff to comment on, they seemed okay, just average. The signposts for what is on which floor in the store could be better advertised, this store is okay but it is nothing more than that, the building its-self isn't as nice as other department stores mentioned, and in a way it has a less high-end feel, which makes it a little less special in a way, especially to tourists and potential shoppers.

Last month I came in as I had a 5% off voucher on multiple purchases so I bought underwear on one floor, then on another day some clothes for a wedding. When I got home I inspected the receipt and worked out though it said 5% off, nothing was actually deducted! I took one dress back as I didn't wear it for a wedding and mentioned there was nothing deducted! She said it's not on all concessions ... Something the other two cashiers didn't say when scanning the clothes! I've given them four stars as I do go to the beauty department to buy skin and hair care. I do ask for samples and majority will give them .., more so with a purchase! I like to walk away with something extra!! Lol They have a beauty points card which is useful and worth collecting points. You get money off when you earn enough.

Cant remember their prices now but from what i can remember its very reasonable, thats age coming in to play by the way!! So its just before or after Oxfam depending on which way you walk down/up hertford street. Its kind of in a corner and looks quite dark from the outside. Friednly staff and loads of choice make it an ideal place to go for trainers and things! Definatley one not to miss. I think people have avoided it in the past due to its location and kind of charitable presence. Its not 2nd stuff but all brand new!
