Very nice brewery in Ingelheim. We went for brunch on Mother's Day with the family and this spot was so crowded! All of the indoor tables and outdoor tables were filled with families and dogs! I love how dogs are allowed in Germany restaurants! Wish this was the case in NYC. We placed our order, while I loved the food and the presentation. We were all taken back by how slow everything arrived. It took over 1+ hours from time of order to receiving the food. It could be perhaps the kitchen was very busy. But many of our family members were hungry. I ordered the schnitzel with white asparagus. It is white asparagus season! And for my baby the spatzle with mushroom sauce on the side. Baby loved the spatzle! And I loved my dish as well. Except the white asparagus has this heavy cream sauce which I would've liked without it. I want to give this place a 4 star but the fact it took FOREVER to get our food knocked them down for poor service. Yes, this is Europe, but when my Germany hosts also makes a comment they were "starving" I had to wonder if this was considered a long wait, even by European standards. I ordered the schnitzel with the mushroom sauce and spatzel. Its a typical German dish, and it looked like everyone and their mother also ordered the dish. I think it took 1/2 hour for our food to arrive... may be longer. The food was good. Not outstanding. Big portion, so the 2 schnitzel filled me up and the big beverages helped wash it down. I like the big tables they offer, so you can spread out. But the service? Not so impressive. read more

Wow, I'm surprised so many Americans discovered this place before me! I drove by while looking for another restaurant for lunch (found it). Then came back to try the bier. I had a Volksfest bier which was okay - not great. Should have gone with the helles instead. The outside of the brauerei is very unassuming. The interior is very cool! Loved the modern décor, brew kettles, and terrace area. If I go back to Ingelheim I'll for sure stop here and try the helles instead. read more

You need to know two things... #1 - Order beer. Helles, specifically. #2 - Schnitzel is a good portion of the menu and if you order it, be prepared for the portion to be so big that it could feed three hungry people, minimum Options aren't abundant in Ingelheim so if you're looking for traditional German pub food and excellent beer, this is a solid choice. read more

A must go place if your ever in Ingelheim. Reservations are a must since the place is always packed, but there is also the option of sitting outside in the garden. Once seated the beer drinking was on, we went through all their offerings, but decided that the Helles bier was the perfect one for me. Once we got our food, I ordered the brau burger which was strong in its flavors and fries, we notice how well the beer paired with the food. What a great addition to a small town! The space is gorgeous and such a nice addition to a wine town. My colleagues took me on my last night on business since they know I study beer and were happy to take me to the brewery right in our headquarter town-- the food was great and so was the beer! I know this region is known for its wine (and the wine is fabulous) but the beer absolutely should not be overlooked, and this was a great addition to break away from the wine focused restaurants and get back to my beers! read more

Beer is good !! Food sucks !! Frozen schnitzel ! Sauce out of a bucket :-( for the money you spend there , I expect fresh made things . The pretzel was good , but not hard to get that wrong . read more
