They did not speak English and I spoke no german but they made it work extra cold beer and a plate of pasta that knocked my socks off no language barrier hear. They made me feel right at home. Unfortunately we got into Xerox so late they were no longer serving food but no matter there was a football game on TV and the locals of course were going berserk for soccer game I don't really understand much for but it was totally awesome to be part of that energy. Of course being Switzerland and Zurich it was pretty expensive almost $40 American for three drinks. When you walk in you see yourself providing there is something available and then you have to order your food and drink from the bar they will deliver it back to your table. They also allow to go drinks and are more than happy. I wish I had more time in Switzerland I really wanted to try their fish and chips

Oliver…read moreTwist Pub was conveniently located within a close proximity to our hotel so we gave it a shot and it delivered. They had one order of fish and chips left fortunately. The fish was fresh and crispy served with a basket of fries, tartar sauce and cole slaw. We ordered and paid at the bar and were served at the table. The place has a British pub vibe and is a great spot if you're looking for cozy bar. It's also a little further from the busy old town scene if you want a break from the heavy foot traffic.
