I stumbled upon Brazuca Cafe after trying to find another Brazilian restaurant in the area (which no longer exists). Everything here is delicious. For starters, you must get their coxinhas and pastel (go with the beef or chicken). They don't skimp out on the filling. I've also ordered their natural juices. My favorite is the passion fruit or pineapple/mint (so refreshing for summer). I've had their steak (picanha) and chicken strogonoff dishes. The steak comes with rice and black beans, with a side of farofa and salad. The chicken strogonoff comes with rice, salad, and potato sticks. Both dishes are very good. so we were looking for something quick, lighter and easy before a movie; we had a little time to burn and ordered one of their savory pasteis' wow, yeah -- i don't know what i can compare it to other than a really delicious argentinian empanada. it's crispy + flaky on the outside and juicy and tender on the inside, and totally worth a try. it made for such a great pre-movie treat that we made a point of coming back for a late night dinner afterward after the movie, the two of us shared the chicken stroganoff and for the price, i do wish the serving was a little bit larger than it was. that being said it was really, really good, so we went back for dessert and ordered their condensed-milk-flavored cake in a cup, which was incredibly sweet and quite dense, as far as cake goes. if you're looking for something simple or light, i'd probably try something else, and if going to order it at all, i think you might want to pair it with a hot coffee or tea or something to cut the sweetness and just break it up some otherwise, the caipirinha was new to us so we had to try it, and i thought, as a layperson, it was quite reminiscent of a margarita (lime, sugar). surprisingly, it comes with a popsicle! though because it was so unexpected we weren't able to finish it while we were there anyway, overall, very delicious if not a little pricey, and one of the best options available in metro pointe. thanks for the food! looking forward to visiting you all again read more

The casual ambiance is great to relax in, food is priced reasonably, and taste great. The staff actually speak Portuguese, and that's a nice to have in a Brazilian place. I can't tell you about the coffee because I didn't have any. But the Coxinha was good, probably not as good as Redondo Beach's, but not bad at all. The Pastel's skin needs a bit more work, not doughy enough and a bit thick. Also a bit greasy. The filling is good. The Kibe was a bit over cooked, so it was a bit hard and dry. Great steak. Wow. What an incredible addition to this mundane food court. I saw that they had a pan de queso (cheese bread) sandwich with fillings I didn't like. They made one for me with ham and cheese. Then, they put it on a panini press. That warmed up the cheese in the bread. I had a moment with my sandwich. My husband wanted the picanha. We are at a quick serve restaurant in a food court. I questioned his discernment. Who orders a steak at a place like this? Then they brought out the steak. It was delicious and cooked perfectly. For less than $20, he had a beautifully cooked steak. Rare with a great crust. (I had another moment with my food) It came with rice, black beans, and a small salad. A friend got a latte and said it was delish. My only suggestion is that they create a lunch sized serving. $20 is a lot for lunch and I didn't need that much food. Staff very friendly! Love the infused water. We went there for dinner today, it was way better than I expected. A new favorite place for sure. Also it's in a super cute mall and both the indoor and outdoor seating are very nice. The pastel de carne and pastel de palmito com queijo were DELICIOUS! If you miss pastel too you know that good ones are hard to find out here, even at some of the best Brazilian places, so this was an awesome surprise. And to make it even better, they offered a delicious hot sauce and a homemade mayo to go with it. Both were spectacular. The picanha plates were great too, the meat quality is super high and it was excellently cooked. Delicious farofa too, and great beans. All around a great dish. I was going to order extra food to go but got so distracted by the array of desserts that I forgot to order that while I struggled to choose sweets to go. Have lived in the area for decades and came across Brazuca Cafe recently on the web. Few days ago I ordered their pastries - coxinha, pasteis (cheese/heart of palms/beef) and kibbeh for delivery. As a picky eater this was an overall unprecedented surprise. I can tell they use high quality, fresh and healthy ingredients to achieve such level of taste and aftertaste. I am familiar with the Brazilian Cuisine and am sure they run a secret recipe for the food they make. While kibbeh is a Middle Eastern delicacy, it's also a very popular dish in Brazil. I couldn't stop eating ! Yesterday, I placed another online order of pastries along with their "Feijoada" - a black bean stew with select red meats and sides. While I expected the portion be larger for the price, it was another outstanding delicious surprise cooked to perfection. Overall, this is by far the next level of the Brazilian Cuisine. GET THE PICANHA!! It's so good! I unknowingly walked in a few minutes before they closed and ordered the Picanha plate. They said I'd have to take it to-go, which was fine, but I was a bit skeptical since they were about to close. I decided to go for it, and I'm glad I did. When I got home, I let it sit for a minute, then dug in. It was definitely one of the most delicious pieces of beef I've ever had--so rich and covered in rendered fat. It's a cute little authentic Brazilian cafe. They have a good menu to choose from. I tried their cheese and meat potato balls and steak sandwich. OH MY GOD! I have to say that my entire salary is being spent on eating at this restaurant. All the items are very fresh and flavorful, with the authentic taste of Brazil, and of course, my weekend routine involves going there for lunch. I have to emphasize that, in addition to the excellent service, the stroganoff (like a chicken in cream with herbs and corn) is wonderful, as well as the feijoada, which is a delicious bean stew with pork and sausage.
