I had a hankering for a turkey dinner, sought out a few diners, and ultimately chose Break Time. Pulling into the parking lot it was clear that this place was old school. But, inside was clean and well lit. The receptionist was very pleasant and sat me. My waitress was very friendly. The meal was terrific. For $20 I got a starter Caesar salad, very generous portion of turkey, stuffing, cranberry sauce and 2 sides. I chose fries and beets. The turkey was juicy and the gravy was nice - not too salty. Stuffing and sides were great too. I asked for some extra cranberry sauce and my waitress brought me a very generous side and I didn't have to pay extra! To top it off, my meal even included dessert. I chose mint chocolate chip ice cream with whip topping. Great food, terrific value, and very attentive friendly service. Very enjoyable experience! read more

I'm not usually a person who takes pictures of food or leaves reviews, but I was incredibly disappointed in the food and experience here. I should have left when I saw four flies on the window at the table in front of mine, but I stayed and ordered a Greek salad. It arrived without cucumber or stuffed grape leaves and barely any green peppers. After eating some of it, I noticed the taste was off and that the "kalamata" olives were actually black olives. When I mentioned this to my waiter, he said that the kitchen was out of kalamata olives and grape leaves. I told him that without those things, this is not a Greek salad. He came back with 2 small stuffed grape leaves on a separate plate, but insisted the kitchen had no kalamata olives. I was not offered compensation or to change my order. Both the salad and stuffed grape leaves were lacking flavor. I packaged up the salad to take with me, hoping I could add the missing ingredients, but on the ride home, I felt sick. I threw out the leftovers to be safe. I wasted $15 on a salad that was missing half of the ingredients and made me ill. I would not recommend this restaurant. read more

Have gone here many times. Their cheese omelet is great. loaded with cheese and not all dried out. I have never had a bad meal there. Service is excellent and Bill the owner is one of the nicest people I have ever met. They do a Thanksgiving dinner that is better than any I could make and you get to take home all the leftovers. Specials are usually between $9 and $11 dollars and come with a soup or salad and dessert. Definitely recommend this place. read more

We have been to Break Time several times but this is our first review. We went to dinner during the week. If you go after 4pm, you get a free appetizer. On the day we went, we had the choice of fried eggplant or potato skin with cheese and broccoli. We ordered from the specials, chicken Marsala and Texas Chicken. The specials come with soup or salad and dessert. We had enough leftovers for additional meals at home. Everything was delicious including the rice pudding and bread pudding that we took home. I recently stopped by Break Time Diner & Westaurant in Warminster for breakfast and was delighted by the generous portions and perfect execution. My ham-and-cheddar omelette arrived piping hot, on the side, the scrapple was cooked just right--golden and crisp outside, yet soft and flavorful within. My dining companion Cindy ordered the Eggs Benedict with asparagus and spinach, artfully presented in an oblong bowl that cleverly corralled every drop of the rich hollandaise. We were pleasantly surprised to find three eggs instead of the standard two--kudos for the extra helping! The staff were warm and welcoming, though our server didn't check back to see if we needed more coffee or anything else. All told, it's a friendly spot with standout breakfast fare--I'll gladly return whenever I'm in the area. read more

First visit here , found via google maps. Upon entering, Shirley gave us a very warm welcome. She was concerned about my mom having to walk far with her walker. In addition, she checked in with us regularly to make sure we were okay and that the food was good The portion size is more than one would expect, both of us had to bring some of our meal home. This new place, Break Time Dinner, is a hidden GEM! Amazing food, huge menu, extra-large portions all at great prices and wonderful service. I ordered from the dinner special list. It came with a bread basket, soup or salad (there were so many great options!) AND a small plate of ravioli or fried eggplant to start. My entree was huge and came with 2 sides AND dessert. I couldn't believe how much delicious food I got at suck an affordable price! We brought home 5 takeout containers so I'm not going to have to cook at all tomorrow and possibly the next day. They've made a lot of changes to the place. There's even a room for private parties. The ambiance is perfect! It's also a BYOB SO you'll save a fortune if you have a large party. If I could give 0 stars I would! The owner is extremely rude! I went to lunch with my mother and children and was having a conversation with my mother and got a little emotional about something and the owner came over and yelled at me for having a "meltdown" in his restaurant. This is a solid diner. We've only been here for breakfast and have enjoyed it both times. The service is very good and courteous. Their cream chipped beef on toast is very good! Was excited to try so the family popped in here on a Saturday early afternoon. Plenty of parking in the back, not overly crowded for late breakfast/early lunch. No salad bar but each entree gave you enough sides. We got the mozzarella sticks as an appetizer, it was very good, hard to mess up! We ordered the small broiled tilapia which was a large piece of fish, got mushroom barley and matzah ball soup, there was an order for chicken cheesesteak and gyro. The fish was great, the gyro was okay but lacked flavor and the chicken cheesesteak though was awful. It was extremely dry which is why I am giving it lesser stars. The service however was great and they did what they can to fix the issue which I was appreciative. read more

Burger was the worse - first, it looked what I imagine would be served at institutions as burger was a thin, perfectly-cut hard mass barely resembling hamburger meat and not surprisingly completely tasteless. If I had to do a blind taste test, I would never guess the taste to be that of a burger. Cost was $12.95. I would expect burgers from the Dollar Store to taste like these. Hard pass. The first time I visited Break Time, I had crab cakes which weren't very crabby but were fine considering the $14.95 smaller portion price. Decent enough small diner on York Road in Warminster, PA, where breakfast was had this morning. My third post-vaccine meal in a restaurant as the world crawls out of its collective cave to taste life again. The Vegetarian Omelet was a substantial plate load of 3 eggs, broccoli, onion, mushroom and spinach, with a shovel full of home fried potatoes for balance and good measure. Rye toast was a crunch and a half. Very filling, but required extra black pepper for taste on both the eggs and taters. I was surprised and concerned that the server was not masked, when we were required to be, and the owner was covered as well. Even with two jabs I would have felt more secure had she considered the reality that she was in contact with everyone in the dining room and kitchen and close proximity with every customers' food. There is something to be said for keeping up appearances, especially in a food service business. Maybe management will see this review and reevaluate its policy on proper social distancing protocols even in the improving circumstance of an almost safe, nearly post Covid world. read more

I was recommend this diner and decided to go with my girlfriend to go get food. We were seated when we first walked in and then no one came to take our orders. After being seated I noticed we were the only minorities in the restaurant but didn't think it was going to be any issue. We waited 25 minutes waiting for the server to come before we decided to walk out, especially after seeing other people who came in after us getting their order taken.
