I booked two rooms through Expedia and stayed in Room 105. Late at night, my wife found a clearly…read morevisible red stain on the pillow, which appeared to be blood. The pillow had been covered with a clean pillowcase, and the stain was obvious once removed. This raised serious concerns about cleanliness and basic hygiene. Reception was closed when we discovered the issue and still closed when we left just before 8 AM, so we had no way to report it in person. We photographed the pillow and contacted the hotel immediately afterward. The hotel refused to provide a refund and offered only a small goodwill payment. I then contacted Expedia for support. Because the booking was "pay at property," Expedia told me they could not help unless the hotel agreed to refund. I escalated the matter to a manager, but even at the highest level of support, Expedia repeated that they could not assist further. At no point did Expedia offer any meaningful escalation beyond relaying messages to the hotel, even though the issue involved a potential health hazard and clear photographic evidence. This experience showed me that Expedia's escalation process provides no practical support when a hotel refuses to cooperate. Even when a guest reports a serious cleanliness concern, Expedia's response was limited to repeating that they could not intervene. Travelers should be aware that if a property declines to resolve an issue, Expedia may not be able to help in any meaningful way, regardless of the circumstances.

The fan in my room was working but making a lot of noise so they immediately switched it out for a quiet one. Everything was very clean and the only added bonus would have been if there was AC as I was there during a heatwave so it was very, very warm in the room at times. Some of the facilities were closed but it has a wonderful back where you can sit near a fire, walk a maze and go into the water. Sitting there in the swing watching the sunset was amazing. I recommend taking a look around the area at all the wooden carvings, there are a lot of them!

Oh my -website pictures are certainly deceiving. Office staff was friendly enough upon check in…read more Drove to our assigned site ....and kept on driving! Sites have no redeeming features except hookups. Might be ok if amenities are more important to you ( pool, moorage, activities for the kiddos) than being packed in like sardines. We're are a small rv and it would have been a tight squeeze between neighbors on 3 sides.

First the good: The resort is clean and, in theory, has a good view. The showers and laundry…read moreareas are also clean. The spaces are very small, but manageable. Now for he problems. The owner is totally irrational and has OCD. Let's say you have an RV with a nice view out the rear window. You will back into your ocean-facing space, correct? Nope. The owner REQUIRES you to pull in face-forward on ocean-facing spaces. Hookups on the wrong side? Tough luck. Reason: the owner thinks it 'looks better.' Translation: the owner's misguided notions of aesthetics trumps the customers' needs. The owner will dictate exactly which direction your RV must face, regardless of your needs. The staff obviously hates telling you this, but they apologetically do. In This row, RVs must pull in forward. In THIS row, they must back in. All because he thinks it looks better. You will never visit a location ANYWHERE with more 'nanny' signs. Do this, don't do that. Let's say you have a medical marijuana card and your physician has suggested this therapy for your problem. Tough luck. The owner's obsessive pickiness is more important than your medical needs. No recreational or medical cannabis allowed. I definitely understand (but disagree with) the banning of recreational marijuana. But medical? Is the owner a physician? No idea. But his prejudices again trump any needs you might have. Alcohol is fine, however. Personally, if I owned an RV resort, I'd way prefer stoners to drunks, but that's just me. Don't know if this is good or bad but the level of oversight by the owner and staff is nothing short of astounding. I enjoyed the place, but longed for the view I might have had if the owner had been a reasonable person.
