Tuesday nothing and spoke to the manager Tanya. By Thursday 3/20/25 at 3PM I still had not heard anything and called the office and was told they still hadn't received communication from the provider. I was told I would hear something by the end of the day. I just took off work and made an appointment for 3/21/25 after my US they cancelled my appointment with Dr. Ganz due to a delivery which I understand. I called today 3/25/25 and again spoke to Tanya about my concerns. Tanya blamed Dr. Ganz and refused to allow me to transfer care. Tanya then said since they can't meet my need they will terminate me as a patient and she will no longer allow me to schedule with their office and said she was ending the call since she would no longer be assisting me. I wasn't yelling or raising my voice. I had legitimate concerns and instead of trying to resolve it I was terminated as a patient? Tanya refused to fill out an OFI report which is an Opportunity for Improvement report against a situation. Tanya then refused to get me to her manager.

The Staff at McGregors office said they could get me an appt. in 7 months. They didn't read my findings and I explained to them that I have a very bad family history of cancer and my brother was diagnosed with some cancer and died in 5 months, so I can't wait 7 months to find out if mine is cancer. They said they would talk to the doctor and get back to me. Nobody called back until I called again and left another detailed message on the answering system, with all of the information. A week later I still have no appointment and was talked to very rudely by Destiny at McGregors office. I asked her if they had told the doctor about the nodules and the cancer in my Father, Brother, Sister, Cousin, Uncles, Grandfather. I also shared that our family was asked to be in a study at SLUH, due to all of the cancers and deaths of my immediate family. We have missing 53 something and mutations. When people are scared they could have cancer, you should not make statements like do you want the appointment or not, and I am not going back and forth with you maam. Completely unacceptable, insensitive treatment of a scared patient. If you can't be compassionate with the patients you deal with daily, especially ones with high cancer risks who have test results of a negative nature, then you need to be fired.
