At its best, YFC provides meaningful relationships, safe spaces for students, and moments where the gospel is clearly lived out--not just spoken. Many of the people who have served here, both past and present, care deeply about students and have made real sacrifices to show up consistently. That said, like many nonprofits and ministries, YFC Fayetteville has faced its share of internal challenges over the years. Organizational strain, leadership transitions, and sustainability issues have sometimes made it difficult for staff and volunteers to thrive long-term. These realities don't negate the good that's been done, but they do affect morale, clarity, and the overall health of the ministry. It's important to say this clearly: the current staff and new leadership are not the problem. There are capable, passionate people involved right now who sincerely want to see this ministry flourish. With clearer vision, healthier systems, and stronger support structures, there is real potential for YFC Fayetteville to step into a more stable and effective future. I remain hopeful that this new team can learn from the past, build wisely, and steward the mission well. When Youth for Christ is healthy, students benefit--and that's a goal worth rooting for.

This has become my family…read more After beginning to attend, I found myself in 20-30, the young adults ministry, and immediately loved it. People were so friendly and inviting that I was able to quickly plug in. Wednesday nights soon became one of my favorite nights of the week! Not too long after I began to start serving and getting involved and it was the best decision. I not only was able to feel like I am making a difference, but I grew closer in my relationship to Jesus. Praise God! You need to check this Church out at least a few times before you settle on a church. But if not this area has so many great churches. Just make sure to find a church family to get plugged into!

Americans churches continue to teach about what people can swallow but not what will transform you by giving conviction and stir up emotion to be better. The Bible isn't just a message of feeling good. That would defeat the purpose of Jesus dying on the cross. Churches need to focus on saving souls. And people need to get that church is supposed to make you change not leave the same. Jesus caused issues where he went because he was telling people how they were living was not good. That flesh was deceiving. That's why he was controversial. I'd also like to point out that I went there looking for clothes (some still with tags never worn) to give away for kids. I don't like giving to goodwill or once upon a child. They always take the not so nice things and keep the things I guess they can charge low prices for, idk the real reason but it's ridiculous. And honestly I'm tired of them picking what they think is cute and I'm going home with clothes someone would truly need or another child could truly enjoy. Anyway I go to grace asking bout if they accept or take clothing for people who may need it. They sent me to the same places I already don't like. And here's my issue. As a church why do you have a coffee place but you don't have a place for food or a place for clothes. A church is supposed to be a place for refuge and help...FREE HELP. Not just for tithes. All I'm saying is do better. You save a life by helping people not turning them away. If you accept my money then accept necessities. Or have something attached to you for helping people. I'm tired of tip toeing around corruption and being a follower of Christ that is warm and not speaking up because people don't like it. Get a place to help people. No church is of Christ without works. Where is your place where you are helping people. NOT SENDING SOMEONE ON A CHASE TO GET HELP.

Agree with other reviewers…read more This church *makes itself out to be a place of reverence and fellowship*, however, there appears to be a grave lack of genuine hospitality and genuine faith. ie - parishioners will ask you to move or change seats - even if you are a first-time visitor - if you are sitting in "their" normal seat. ie - the liaison to the priest will ask harassing questions if you need to use the rest room ie - most shockingly and worrisomely, a parishioner I contacted for help with moving my trailer ended up sexting me instead. When confronted, instead of showing signs of remorse or guilt, he doubled down and asked me to send pictures. What is really going on at this church? The priest does not seem to care that all of this behavior is going on under his watch.

Review of the Singing Christmas Tree, a yearly Christmas tradition…read more The SCT performance is AH-mazing! The sets/decor are mostly simple, but the live Christmas tree is huge and breathtaking. The lights, music, (singers of all ages and a live orchestra) and message converge into a must see event. There is no cost for the tickets, but beware they go fast. There are multiple performances, but this is so popular that tickets "sell out". Check their website or fb for release of tickets and be ready to claim yours. The performance will appeal to everyone- it speaks the Christian message (including an invitational), but would not make unbelievers uncomfortable. Based off the years I have been, the performance runs approximately 2 hours. Although this event is definitely child appropriate, take into consideration the length and event times.

We were both very impressed with their full orchestra, children, adults and teenagers that went to such great lengths and I know had to attend many rehearsals for such a wonderful concert. The large Christmas tree structure was very impressive. The church itself was warm and inviting. This event is free to the public and announced on their website. Tickets are encouraged and they are FREE. All they ask is for canned donations and we were more then happy to contribute! An inspiring night for young and old. I look forward to making this one of our annual events to attend.
