Updated: They decided to waive my 2 year old "unpaid balance" that I had no idea existed because I received no information about it until a week ago. Apparently, their auditing of accounts (2yrs later) uncovered this and they decided to bill me-- sounds like the customer/patient gets to deal with their irresponsible handling of their accounts. While I appreciate their manager "wrote off" this 2yr old unknown balance (which they should have done in the first place because I never received any information about it 2yrs ago), and they assured me that the acupuncturist is no longer at their facility, I will not be changing my rating. Clearly this is a poorly managed business and I chose not to trust them with my health. ***** This place is awful. 2 YEARS AGO I went in for an acupuncture treatment and received the following absolutely HORRIBLE experience: 1. Needles applied to my face and feet, totally normal. Except-- the needles in my face were deep enough to cause significant bleeding that dripped into my eye 2. I had exposed feet, the room was very cold and I wasn't offered or given a blanket so was freezing 3. Because of the needles in my face and feet, I couldn't move around to ask for anything AND THEY LEFT ME IN THE ROOM WITHOUT CHECKING IN FOR 30 MINUTES. After that experience I decided I would never go back and just left it at that. I don't usually write negative views but I've decided this is important for other people to know-- *****2 YEARS LATER*****-- I am receiving a bill and a warning that an unpaid balance is going to be sent to collections. I have NEVER RECEIVED ANY INFORMATION INDICATING I HAD AN UNPAID BALANCE UNTIL NOW. I have lived in the same place since before my visit 2 YEARS AGO and am JUST NOW RECEIVING a bill saying they received "insufficient funds." I am a very responsible human, check my mail daily, check my insurance balances regularly and NOT ONCE have I received any indication that I owe anything until, let me repeat, TWO YEARS LATER. Obviously, I am incredibly infuriated. If they remedy this situation, I will update this review. Until then, if I could give them 0 stars I would. read more

As a nurse I'm pretty picky about my own care. Dr. Colin and his staff are AMAZING! I have metal rods and screws in my back and hip and they are ALWAYS cautious when treating me but I have never been injured or had any negative issues. I have had a considerable amount of ailments due breast cancer, thyroid removal, and diabetes. I came in initially for adjustments because of joint issues caused by the medication I'm taking as treatment to prevent breast cancer from spreading. Each joint issue that would happen would be addressed by the Bremerton Wellness team with chiropractic adjustments, deep tissue massage, accupuncture, and their weight loss program. Having all of these options available has been given me a therapeutic and successful outcome to targeting and eliminating each joint issue problem as each one occured. I am so grateful for the Bremerton Wellness team for giving me back my quality of life! I will continue to put my trust in this very professional team with my health concerns and I highly recommend them to anyone seeking to feel well again. read more

Dakota is an awesome Sports Massage Therapist!!! He actually listens to the body and gives it what it needs. He also explains what he finds and it really helps me understand my issues that much more. I've been to countless Dr.'s and all they want to do is give you a diagnosis some pills and maybe physical therapy but for the first time I feel he actually listens and addresses my problems. This is not a relaxing spa massage but a highly effective therapeutic one. He pushes my body to the limit and yet I can still function the next day. I see major progress with each visit. I wish I could go every week but I do try to go at least twice a month. He does stay booked usually up to two weeks but he is definitely worth it. read more

The following comments are my personal experience and a warning for other consumers. I visited Bremerton Wellness on December 30th to begin a 30-day weightless program that includes a 10-day detox. The website states there is a "wellness team" who uses," ...a combination of treatments to help boost your metabolism naturally." The site also states, "You can expect... 10-30 pounds in 40 days. Since I've had a positive experience with their massage and acupuncture, I wasn't suspicious of this program. What did I get for $500? 1. An unorganized binder with 30 pages to log my intake and pages with basic recipes. 2. A bottle of supplements (10-day supply) 3. A container of powder protein (10-day+ supply) I disclosed my medical issues and concerns during the initial meeting and Doctor encouraged my success with this program. We discussed potential treatment "packages" and scheduled weekly meetings for weigh ins. Each week Doctor and I reviewed my logs, he approved of my commitment to the program, and encouraged my continuation. What did I get at the end of the 30 days? I had lost 2lbs and 3% body fat; no treatment packages or combination of treatments were received; no "wellness team" assistance and Doctor's response of, "... your underlying issues and stress are the problem." NOT WORTH THE MONEY! Save your $500 do something else!! read more

I was a patient here for nearly 4 years and that has come to an end because their massage therapist misses more appointments than he attends. They are either unwilling or unable to keep appointments on their end. Avoid them like the plague. read more

I have been an established patient for over a year now and I love Bremerton Wellness. Everyone there is so nice and friendly. I went in for a flare up due to an old injury and within a few months of chiropractic and massage therapy care, I felt back to normal. Called an hour ahead of appointment to confirm the times and asked the receptionist if I should come in early to fill out paperwork. She assured me no, come in 5 minutes early that's fine. After checking in she takes 5 minutes to copy my ID ( they already have my ID copy but Ok) then hands me forms to fill out! By the time I get to the massage room I'm told my massage will be shorter than normal because I was filling out paperwork for 10 minutes. Then after that my acupuncture appointment was odd. She poked me through my clothes and then left me for an hour and a half, not checking in on me once or providing me with an emergency call button. Overall not a great experience and needless to say I will not be coming back. Kingston Crossing Wellness is much further away but they are far more organized and courteous. read more

I do not recommend this business for a couple of reasons. I came in with neck and shoulder pain and left with even worse neck and shoulder pain, and worse mobility. They told me to just walk to Fred Meyer to get Tylenol. I had to be picked up as i couldn't drive after being seen and went straight to urgent care. My second reason is their handling of insurance, I havent been to many chiropractors so this could be standard but it seemed slimy to me. They charge you $95 for the visit but won't check your insurance until after you paid, then they will "credit" your account the amount you overpaid for future appointments. read more

I began to use the services of the Bremerton Wellness Center as an adjunct alternative for pain control as I was withdrawn from all opioids after some twenty years of use. The taper went well but my body reacted to the lack of pain meds so the VA offered me chiropractic services. The good Doctor is well informed and able to care for those issues he found on the x-rays. I opted to take a multi-faceted approach and paid for massage therapy and acupuncture. The massage therapist performed deep tissue manipulation and found spots I didn't know I had. I felt so much better after the soreness began to wear off in several days. I followed her instructions to drink plenty of water which helped to wash out the toxins. I am looking forward to further appointments because she definitely knows and loves her profession. I started acupuncture today after a thorough intake. It was painless and positively restful. The therapist was kind, considerate and professional which made for a positive experience. I was so relaxed after the procedure and my pain was reduced. Again, I am looking forward to my continuing appointments. Now for the office staff. They are super friendly and make us at ease while waiting for our appointment. One downside was that they wouldn't let me take any of the therapists home. If anyone is considering one or any of the services offered at the Bremerton Wellness Center I can almost guarantee that you won't be dissatisfied, I know that I am extremely pleased. I made an appointment two weeks in advance, which seemed like a good sign at the time. The pros: the massage therapist found all my sore spots. The cons: I left more tense than when I arrived. The pressure was not consistent, and at times it felt as though the therapist was using me to hold herself up while she switched positions. Since only one therapist works the weekend I doubt I will ever return to try another. The massage was not worth what I paid, even by half. Sadly I was disappointed. read more

I have used the clinic for both chiropractic care and acupuncture. I've been treated by both Dr. Hunter and Dr. Gill. They both are very personable and did s great job. My back pain and hip pain have been greatly reduced and I am able to enjoy my regular activities. I was nervous about trying acupuncture at first, but Dr. Fuji explained everything and made sure I was comfortable with the experience. She worked wonders on an acute shoulder issue I was having and I am now good as new! Front desk staff are very caring and knowledgeable. Great all around experience! read more
