I stopped in at the Brockton Brennan's location on Saturday to pick up a couple of cigars to enjoy on this beautiful weekend. I was impressed by the decent walk in humidor with a great selection, but that's where the the pros of this shop end. The humidor is plastered with signs warning against putting your hands in your pockets and notifying you that you're on camera. I understand the need for CC survelience of an expensive product, but don't treat your paying customers like their criminals. I shouldn't feel uneasy while browsing for a cigar or three, especially given their relative expense. My second gripe was with their labeling system. They use a small price tag with a code on it that I assume is for whatever POS/inventory system they are using, however it was taped onto the band (over the logo I might add) and in my case, taped onto a portion of the cigar as well. Wish I had noticed before leaving. Unfortunately this was a $17 Liga Privada and I was none too pleased when I took the band off and it took a portion of that beautiful wrapper with it. While it may seam trivial, I DO NOT expect the logo of a $17 cigar to be covered, I'm buying partially for the brand/appearance and the band is a part of that. Don't cover it up. Putting tape on the wrapper is amateur at best. Suffice it to say, if you are looking for a reputable tobacconist for all your cigar needs that will serve you for years to come and treats the cigars you buy as well as you do, then this is not the place for you. read more

Im not from brockton but, I visit nearly every weekend. Ive been here twice. Its a small spot, with a tiny seating area, simply because you shouldnt make it your home and, its not a lounge. lol I find it organized well enough as a new customer, I was able to find what i wanted without assistance. I come here for the E-juice. Its 9.99 for the premium COSMIC FOG & CUTTWOOD e-juice; thats the lowest ive seen so far. Most places sell them for 12-14.00 further out northwest. lastly, all the cashiers are friendly and helpful. I plan to go back and, I would recommend this place if youre around the area. read more

First indication should have been the call I made to this location. I was in the middle of asking a question regarding their products (considering I live an hour away and didn't want to waste time driving there for nothing) and was rudely hung up on. I decided to call back no answer. So I figured maybe something happened, giving them the benefit of the doubt, I took a drive there. From the moment I walked in I was very disappointed. Not in the selection but the Customer Service itself. Although this was the first bad experience I've had in this store, I felt it necessary to share my previous review, just as I feel it necessary to share Brennan's response. I was quickly contacted by the owner, Geoffrey, who was very apologetic & expressed a deep concern for his customers satisfaction. He assured me this was unacceptable behavior & the problem employee is no longer part of their team. He went to great lengths to rectify this experience & keep me as a customer. He was kind enough to give me a more than generous assortment of high-end cigars to make amends & show his appreciation. The swift, generous response from Geoffrey is commendable & shows that he cares not only about his business but the customers who keep his doors open. When I returned to the store today to pickup my cigars, the manager (CeCe) who is always very friendly, was also very apologetic & even tossed in another complimentary cigar on top of the already very generous assortment Geoffrey had aside for me. This has showed me that when Brennan's has a customer relations problem not only will they do their very best to solve that problem but they will strive to make it right for you as the customer. I've been to this store and they have always treated me good. As for people who say that if the price on the Cigar is less than what the computer says, I always thought because Tobacco is a controlled substance (like Alcohol is) Massachusetts state law does not allow dealers to give the customer the item at less than cost because the state loses out on precious revenue it claims it needs, even if the price on the item is less than the price stated in the register. read more

Very disappointing, went in to buy cigars and some tobacco , guy working seemed annoyed when I wanted info on products, didn't want to answer basic questions saying it was against the law to compare tobacco products. Prices not competitive. Bought a product that was not very good ,probably why he was evasive on tobacco product. I would expect a smoke shop to sell high end product as after reviewing product on line it was sub par. My mistake.The sales person was more involved playing with his dog than customer service . The radio commercial made it seem like a friendly place,I won't be back. Don't waste your time going to this place. Over priced and not customer oriented. read more

This review is about their plymouth location and vaping equipment. I am a enthusiasts of vaping and enjoy buying quility merchandise and don't mind clones. However when it comes to batteries it is a great deal to buy genuine and authentic brands. A great high drain 18650 battery is the VTC5 produced by Sony which they sell at this location. Long story short, they were selling fake batteries which is very dangerous. A majority of people who sub ohm require a authentic high drain battery, and if they don't use one they run the risk of having the battery explode. The difference you can tell between a fake and an authentic vtc5 is the QR code and I've made the mistake of purshasing fake and authentic so I know the difference. I notified the lady that was working there and she she said she didn't really care and as customers walked in and I was still in mid conversation explaining why she should rethink about selling the batteries she walked away and ignored me. After that I gave a weird look to her looked around the vaping products and walked out. Now I'm not knocking their cigar and other smoke products because I know nothing about it and I didn't really focus on those products anyway. But I know alot about the vape industry and I think they should study a little more If they want to branch into that, if not then they have no business selling vape products. Now I've only been there once and I don't know how much or how long they had vape products but I guarantee they don't really care. So my suggestion is go to a real vape shop if your shopping for vape products. read more
