Make sure and do your walk thrus, we did catch some things but they were quickly fixed. If you make changes after you sign with them, you'll be charged but that's standard. What's not standard is that the contract price is the final price no matter how long it takes. Fair and easy to work with I think. We've been in our home six months and love it, only a minor issue with doors and they came right out and fixed.

Starting with Shad who walked me though the entire process of what a build would be like and worked closely with me to come up with the perfect floor plan. He answered all my questions and never made be feel as if i was bothering him with some silly questions I had. Next, Thaddeus who was our contact through the entire build. He was our life line through the process and made sure to communicate throughly any changes or updates. He was always happy and available to answer questions or explain changes. He is super organized and really knows what he is doing and does it well. Lastly Trevor who was on site with the contractors and making sure everything with the house was going smoothly. We didn't have much direct communication with him expect for walkthroughs but if we had questions about anything specific on the job he would jump on the call to explain it to us and what our options were. He was great during the walk throughs to make us feel comfortable with what was going on and would be the first to point out something he felt wasn't up to standards even if we missed it, and have it fixed. We were building from out of state and were very nervous about the communication with a builder from so far away. Little did we know Sherlock Homes Builders would be excellent in this department, They kept us updated weekly, often sent pictures of new things happening and if we asked from more or specific photos of something they got them to us quickly. They accommodated our tight schedule with flights to TN during COVID and made sure we had all our appointments for finishes lined up. All the vendors they used were very helpful and had great products. All this added up gave us the dream home we had hoped for in the end! We have now been living in the house almost 2 months LOVE it. The small things that have come up that have needed repair or we noticed weren't quite as expected, they have been quick to get someone out to take care of the problem. And follow up to make sure it completed and to our standards. I would recommend Sherlock Homes Builders to anybody looking to build in Middle TN!!

This is the worst apartment complex. Don't waste your time or your money because their $1250/month…read morefor a 500sqft apartment where nobody answers the phone (EVER) and apparently they only have one maintenance for multiple complexes, is not worth that price. My daughter moved in to this apartment in May 2022 and has had multiple maintenance problems. The office never answers their phone, nor do they call back. Maintenance does not fix things properly, like kitchen sink backing up, washing machine connectors spraying water when we connected washer hoses (from the top of the shutoff valves) the maintenance person said it was the hoses. Wasp infestation that they didn't respond to for 10 days. My daughters room mate is allergic to wasp. The smoke detector started alarming early hours one morning. When they finally got in touch with the office they were told to just take off the wall until someone could get out there. My daughters car was hit in the parking lot. Unable to get a hold of the office to see if there are any surveillance cameras, I'm sure there aren't in a dump like this. The tenants across from my daughters were evicted and the trash sat outside in the ally way for days, smelling. We had a large package from Amazon delivered to the wrong apartment. My daughter saw it sitting downstairs but did not realize it was something I had shipped there. Office never got back with me when I left a message. Nor did the person living in the apartment respond to the note I left on their door asking if they saw or received the box.

Our roof had quite a bit of damage from 2 wind and strong rain storms. Shingles missing and all…read moreover the house and garage. Being that we are new to the area we didn't know who to call, or trust for that matter. A neighbor was having a new roof installed so my husband went over to ask for a business card, instead he met Cody, who came over and looked at the roof. He told us how to go about contacting our insurance company to report the damage. Once we did this we called him back to get an estimate for replacing the roof. He explained the differences in the shingle types and what he would recommend. We were given a 2 week estimate from when we chose the shingles till when the work would be done. We received a call in 3 days saying the work could be completed within the next 2 days. They showed up in the morning and by that evening all was completed, with no evidence if them even being there other than the awesome looking new roof! Would recommend them to anyone looking for great work and honest people.
