You can walk on both sides, the eastern side is a bit easier to walk though. It's so quiet, so green, so peaceful. There's a small dock halfway around. We enjoyed just sitting there by the water and taking in this great scenery. There were only a handful of people. Mostly locals, some having a picnic. This area doesn't see many international tourists. And that's not a bad thing. We really liked the atmosphere here. And a walk to the lake was our daily routine. Our Bulldog loved it as well. There's also a WWII memorial not far from here, a restaurant and a public parking lot just across the road. If you look for a quiet and peaceful spot in northern France, look no further. We wished we could've stayed longer.

After walking around the village we grabbed some (very nice) sandwiches in a local bakery and…read moreheaded down to this little lake. We ate just across the street from it, there's a nice fountain and a good number of benches. After we walked around the lake with our Bulldog. She really enjoyed it. No people around (grey and rainy day), lots of green. There are benches all around the lake, a pavillon as well (in case of rain) and a playground at the eastern end of the lake. It's really a short walk. But it's very nice. It's very calm, quiet and relaxing. Quintin is a great - yet unknown - little town and well worth a visit. Visited this gym today while on a trip to Pontivy. The manager/owner "Eric" was extremely nice and…read moreaccommodating , even though my French is more embarrassing than the NFL's attempts to masquerade as college football 2.0. I was provided with a towel and turned loose for a reasonable daily rate. Not easy to find a suitable gym while in a foreign country but this one had almost anything you would want. Thanks again to the the club for catering to me and my need for a workout fix.
