Had Dysport injected to clear the gabella lines (the 11 between the eyebrows) and am very…read moredisappointed. The actual injections were almost totally painless and they worked well on the vertical lines but did nothing for the horizontal. I know the horizontal lines can be significantly improved with correctly placed injections - I had gabella lines, crows feet, and a Botox brow lift done by a local plastic surgeon last year and the results were super. It's now 8 weeks since I had the shots at Faces on Main and I have almost full range of motion to frown and produce deep wrinkles between my eyes. Since I know what a properly done job can look like and it's duration of efficacy (at four full months post injection, the muscles were just beginning to show frowns when done by plast. surg.) I've got to question either the product that was used or the skill of the injector. The syringe was not prepared in my presence (as it was by the plastic surgeon) so I have no way of knowing exactly how much of the product was injected and/or how much it was diluted. Personally, I think a product that offers 3-4 months of duration, and lasts less than 8 weeks is not acceptable. I will not be returning to Faces on Main. The procedure is simply too expensive to justify paying someone to either dilute the product to such an extent that it has basically a half life, or someone who doesn't administer it correctly, or a combination of the two. Sarasota Plastic Surgery Center has almost identical pricing. I will be trying there shortly. I assume that, with a significant reputation to protect, they will not choose to cut corners or skill level. Very disappointing.
