I just went to Slocum Dixson Medical Allergy Department. I was there for 3.5 hrs. No one told me to…read morebegin with that I would be there this long to start. The allergist I saw had the worst demeanor and bedside manor I have ever seen in my life! Porus J Dhabhar MD was not only rude to his nursing staff but to me on multiple occasions. Insead of listening to his patient (myself), he kept getting increasingly irratated and mad in which he snapped at me on multiple occasions. He precedded to tell me I don't have migraines nor can I distingush between a migraine or sinus headache. Well I hate to tell you buddy but I had been diagnosed with chronic migraines. He also told me that " Advil" with take away the pain that I have with my "blood tested and verified" Rheumatoid Arthritis! Well buddy once again you are wrong and that's why you are not specialized as a Rheumatologist and making the big bucks! There are many other aspects of this meeting that I will not mention, but suffice it to say that I would never nor will I ever recommend this MD or office for Allergy testing! I would much rather drive out to Syracuse to get the care, respect, and corrects answers that I need!
