If you're a college student or in the military, I strongly recommend avoiding this gym, as their policies seem designed to trap you financially. - Here's why I'm giving them 1 star: *Their prices are double what other gyms charge in Warrensburg. *The owner is unfriendly and unwelcoming. *The contract buyout fee is outrageous--$300 or more, often higher than other gyms in Missouri. They charge whichever amount benefits them most (either $300 or 50% of your remaining contract, whichever is higher). CHECK THE TERMINATION OF AGREEMENT - When I graduated and moved 50+ miles away, I was told that since I was a consistent customer for many years I could avoid the buyout fee if I gave them a month's notice. When I did, that offer was suddenly "no longer available," and they demanded $450 to cancel my contract. After negotiating, they agreed to $200 but required it in cash within three days, even though they had my card on file. I drove over an hour to pay in person, only to deal with a rude and uncooperative owner who refused to give me a receipt until days later. This gym only cares about money, not its members. Avoid it.
