The dining room was well organised and comfortable and the food arrived in a reasonable time. The menu was pretty much the standard RSL fare. The roast for $17 (large) or $11 (small) was popular. The portions and size of food seemed very large to me as were a fair number of the clientele. My calamari rings were twice as big as I have ever experienced before and I have a big appetite but couldn't finish them. I haven't found anything younger than 50 years except the beer I had in one of the bars. Right on the golf course, this would be fantastic for a golf trip , as long as you don't need too many mod cons, just olde worlde comfort. I don't think it would be possible to go mad here because it's just exactly like an old boarding school and I'd be too scared I'd get a detention.
