this is our new favorite pizza take out option in arlington. i'll be honest the reviews really surprised me, since i was expecting to see way more top reviews after a few delicious deliveries. the pizzas are really reasonably priced with 12" and 16" sizes. you can order any pizza and customize as much as you want with either just a left/right topping or both halves, or can also request extra. i love that it is thin crust pizza, but sturdy enough to hold up the toppings and it still has a bit of chewy dough in the crust. the toppings are also really well balanced so you feel like you got plenty of the order but it is not taking over the cheese and sauce. the deliveries also come right on time and both times the delivery person was very kind and smiley. read more

First time ordering from Brickstone and I was very pleased. They said our delivery would be arriving within 45 minutes and it was more like 25 minutes with piping hot pizza and it was delicious too! read more

Good food for a mom and pop shop, decent portions, and they try to make everything fresh. The family and staff that own this restaurant are pretty friendly, and will try to engage you in conversation if you come in enough. If you get any type of sauces or dressings they will add it on your food so just be specific if you want it on the side. Another plus is that they have reasonably timed delivery. read more

Honestly, I'm a little disappointed​. I was hoping for a hot, crispy pizza, but instead, I got a cold, grease-filled pizza that was simply unpleasant to consume. I ordered a large cheese pizza with sausage and fries, but my entire order was less than appealing. The fries were extremely​ hard to eat and the pizza was dripping with grease. We ordered 3 small pizzas this afternoon for delivery. The delivery took an hour from when we initially called in the order. The pizzas were all over cooked and extremely dry. I don't know what it's like if you dined in, but we won't be ordering from here ever again. read more

We ordered pizza delivery this afternoon through the yelp application. The pizza was to arrive by 1:15, but came just after 1:30. Sadly, although the pizza was pretty good (we order the veggie), it was cold. Pretty sure we will not order pizza from here again. Ordered take out from Brickstone ​C​afe ​la​st night - ​my first experience here.​ ​ Evidently I should have stuck with pizza - I was​ ​disappointed with the taste and the quality of both the St​eak ​T​ip Di​nner AND the​ ​Eggplant Rollatini​.​​ ​The steak tips were overdone, had no flavor, and were tough to chew - the white rice I ordered as a side was plentiful but bland. The ​​portion seemed small for the $15 price​ tag​​. ​The Rollatini were likewise overcooked, and had barely any ricotta filling - the dish was mostly stale breaded eggplant slices and tomato sauce. I ended up throwing them out after a few bites. On a positive note, the side salad was fresh and crisp - I really enjoyed it.​ Will probably return here in the future to sample their pizza, but I don't recommend these two dishes at all. read more

I am glad this place exists! LOL We have been working in Arlington for a little over a year and never knew of this place. One of our friends stopped buy with two pizzas from here and we were hooked. The pizza is superb best in the area they used a good quality cheese their dough is great their pizza sauce just right and they cook the pizza perfectly. The calzones are spot on packed full of meat or whatever. This has become our got to place they deliver their prices very reasonable. Next week have to get some subs to try. read more

This is going to be a weird review. First, the pizza is good enough that we just ordered take out pizza for the second time. We have one of their printed menus that says pizzas are half-priced on Mondays, which is what we paid the first time a few months ago. This time, after being quoted full price for the pizzas as I placed my order on the phone (on Monday), I questioned the young man on the phone about the half price deal. He consulted with someone else and then informed me that they are now just taking $5.00 off per pizza. I decided not to press about the price because my dining partner was anxious for pizza, and I didn't want it to get complicated (because my dining partner pinches pennies and would have made a big deal out of it). I went to pick up our pizza order (they're just across the street from us), and paid while the pizzas were still baking in the oven. I asked the friendly young man behind the counter if they had some new printed menus with current prices. He informed me the menus were still being designed. Meanwhile, he charged me full price for the pizzas. That's the weird thing. I was the only customer. I'm sure he knew I was the person he spoke with on the phone, yet he still charged full price without taking off $5.00 per pizza (as far as I could tell at the time). Maybe they had raised all of their prices since the original menus were printed. I wasn't at all interested in fussing about it with the young man. However, this will probably discourage us from ordering again soon. (NOTE: Subsequent to this review, I was contacted by the owner and received a gracious response. See last paragraph below.) I took home the two large pizzas we had ordered. One was the "Chelsea" (grilled chicken, bacon, and ranch dressing). The other was a two-topping large with extra cheese and black olives. I had prepared a nice beet and green bean salad with candied pecans at home to go with. (Just throwing that in.) We enjoyed the pizzas. The crust is notably thin and oven-blackened on the bottom with a nice dusting of corn meal. The cheese pizza was yummy and chewy with lots of cheese and ample black olives. The sauce was sparse but overall it was good (if you like a thin floppy crust with a few bubbles - as I do). The Chelsea pizza didn't have much chicken, but it was enough to pass. The bacon was nicely crunchy and crumbled into small bits so it worked well in the eating. We didn't detect ranch flavor at all though. I'm calling this a weird review because I don't dislike this establishment. The pizza is good and it fits the bill when frozen pizza, or other massive chain pizza won't do (we never order big chain pizza anyway). This establishment seems to be family run, which I fully support. Small businesses deserve our patronage. They give our communities character and fill our needs in a more personal way. I could have made a fuss about being overcharged, but I've come not to expect mathematical genius, or nuance in negotiating with kids running a pizza joint, which is how this feels. I hope they get it together though. Their pizza formula is good enough to repeat, but they should clean up their act as far as menu and pricing. It's just pizza, but it's also our money. To some, paying more could mean doing business some place else. I know my cheap dining partner will probably not be anxious to patronize again, at least not without my giving a little nudge. FOLLOW UP NOTE: Shortly after submitting my review, I heard from the owner of this establishment. After a few exchanged messages, the owner determined there had been an error in applying a discount at the time of my last visit, and I was graciously offered fair compensation. I was assured by the owner that his family employees are honest, and I understand people make mistakes. I would not discourage anyone from doing business with Brick Stone. I've been there once and ordered delivery twice. The pizza is fine if not memorable. I had a meatball sub delivered tonight. It was awful. Very little sauce, and what sauce there was wasn't sweet, spicy or tangy. The meatballs tasted more like meat loaf and clearly hadn't been simmering in any kind of sauce. I stick by my small sample review. First impressions matter, and I'm unwillingly to sacrifice my dollars to see whether the restaurant will improve. read more
