The problem is that the club is now open to the public to eat there. Many of the longtime membership feels slighted. Why are they paying a membership fee when anyone can go, no membership required. Members must put up with the general public coming and going at what once was a private club. Well the Barvarian has seen better days. Maybe as a private club it's run its course and it should just forget the club and open completely to anyone and everyone that wanders by. It's just another restaurant and bowling alley now.
