Bride Vine and Branches was AMAZING. I'm so grateful I came across someone like Jelena (owner) to be in charge of my flowers. It was amazing to see how much she went out of her way to satisfy my needs within my budget. I had a tight budget for the flowers and thought I wouldn't be able to hire a florist. I told Jelena my situation and she was able to brainstorm with me to give me beautiful and affordable ideas. Since my budget was tight, she was willing to do a DIY contract with me that allowed me to do some of the flowers arrangements with my friends and family. Jelena walked us step by step. It was like a flower arrangement class, we all had so much fun:) At the wedding everything looked beautiful. Jelena was so kind through out the whole process. There aren't enough superlatives... There just aren't enough to explain what an absolute pleasure it was to work with the Bridevine and Branches team. I met Jelena after a less than successful initial attempt with another event planning professional - who quit. That's a story for a different review. :-) My Matron of Honor found Bridevine & Branches and after an initial conversation, I felt so assured that I could trust this team with all of my planning needs. It was ELEVEN weeks before our big day and my then fiance and I were out of time, to say the least. We were planning a destination wedding in Mexico, and had not signed any contracts besides the venue. Jelena swooped in with her ever pleasant demeanor and put together a theme, timeline, and complimentary budget to review with me. And during our first meeting, I was already choosing table linens! I was definitely a low maintenance bride. I didn't really have an idea of what I wanted, and Jelena assured me that it wasn't a problem and brought some options for me to review. To say I was BLOWN away at how she took my two words "beach chic" and designed two beautiful spaces is an understatement. She was proactive, prompt, and over-communicative of all of the dealings with the venue. She also sourced vendors with better service and pricing to help me stay within budget. And she also helped me with her professional opinion when I was steering away from the design in a way that would have compromised the perfection of the affair. Even when the RSVP count exceeded the plan. She was always very friendly and smiling with every conversation and FaceTime session. Even when I found it hard to make a decision - she found the right way to "help" me through it. :-) Then came wedding week. She arrived on location with plenty of time to meet with all of the vendors, arrange walk-throughs and hand out the timelines for the sequence of events for the day so there would be no confusion when the clock struck 5PM! She communicated all of the contingency plans (bad weather, makeup trials, etc) so that I would not wonder what I would do if anything went wrong. I even told her about a welcome dinner and after party that ended up requiring more planning than expected and she sprung into action to deliver. And then came the day... Everything went off without any snags (that I could tell) It was all so beautiful. Guests and vendors were in place, and so was everything else. I was speechless at the actual reception space - even after seeing it on paper. (did I mention that she designed the space in event planning software??) I know that it was divine intervention and I thank God for leading us to Jelena and her team. How good was she? So good, that the onsite coordinator told me that Jelena was the best she'd worked with and that she wishes Jelena could train others how to do it right! Way to go Jelena and team! Pageo Lavender Farm recommended Jelena Crone/Bridevine and Branches for a wedding planner. She was very responsive to us and provided the creativity and beauty we were seeking for our wedding. She is outstanding at designing/creating the perfect setting! Words cannot convey how beautifully our venue was set up. Many fine touches. She does the flowers herself and they were breathtaking!!! The first wedding invitation she showed us was the one we loved - that took about 3 minutes to decide and she brought volumes of books to select from. She knew what we would love. Her recommendations for accompanying vendors were superb. The photographer (Carolyn Welch Photography), the Vintage Rental Company for tables, place settings, vases, vintage doors for altar, etc., all were perfect for the Pageo Lavender Farm setting. We didn't think we needed a DJ and set that up rather late in the planning and we are so glad we did, Michael Hernandez, No Limits Disc Jockey Service, was also amazing. Ever plan a stunningly beautiful and intimate wedding ceremony at a historical villa in Hudson Valley, New York in just three weeks??? I thought not. But call it love or call it craziness, last October, that's exactly what me and my hubby decided to do. And we simply could not have pulled off such an INCREDIBLE wedding in that time without BridevineandBranches!! We wanted top of the line wedding planning and floral design to avoid wedding headaches, and we so got it. For starters, my hubby and I are not planners, both of us hate shopping and decorating, and event logistics are not our forte. I love that Jelena LISTENED carefully to our vision for our wedding and then built on that with some creative suggestions, instead of trying to promote some cookie-cutter ceremony like so many in the wedding industry do. We wanted a simple, rustic, outdoor, autumn ceremony that was intimate and meaningful, even if we did only have three weeks to plan. I'm telling you, Jelena worked tirelessly to make that happen. Our wedding day was exactly what we wanted it to be. Jelena designed the most BEAUTIFUL autumn bouquets, boutonnieres, and rustic farm table arrangements that went perfectly with the setting and the bridesmaids' dresses. She also dealt with all of the vendors (caterers, photogs, DJ, etc) and their contracts, leading up to, and on the day of the wedding--a real relief for us. After discovering that our first selected caterer was overcharging us and being less than professional, within a few days Jelena found a new caterer that came up with such a yummy harvest menu and gave us so much more service and food for our money. When we wanted farm tables, she called the furniture supply place herself to double check that they were holding them for the caterer. On the day of, she also made sure that the photographers and DJ were ON POINT with their pic and music selections. Jelena's dedication to making our wedding the best, and driving hard bargains to get us the best deal for our money was just awesome. On top of it all, she's fun and warm, and involved with the guests. I repeat -beautiful wedding in three weeks people with super-professional wedding planning and floral designing!
