What's behind the Green Door? Well, I remember a song from my childhood called "Green Door" -it had a honky-tonk piano sound and I kind of remember it got some radio play in the early '60s. I also remember there was a porno movie named "Behind the Green Door". It was a big deal in 1972 and "starred" Marilyn Chambers -the Ivory Snow girl. Fast Forward to today. What's Behind the Green Door up in Collinsville, CT? A very nice restaurant known as the Green Door Restaurant. It's the house restaurant at Bridge Street Live - a music and entertainment venue on the Farmington River in the funky little town of Collinsville. We had dinner at the Green Door tonight and had a pretty favorable experience. We sat outside on the deck and enjoyed a pretty view of the River and enjoyed a singer and his acoustic guitar. So what kind of food might one find behind their Green Door? The menu had seven appetizers ranging from a $6 soup to an $18 Charcuterie Board, three salads ranging from $10 to $14 with a protein add-on between $8-$10 more, five sandwiches with a side for $13 or $14, six personal pizzas ($10-$15), and eight entrees ranging from $14 - $34. We shared a Hummus platter ($10) served with pita wedges, grape tomatoes, carrot and celery sticks, and broccoli florets. The hummus with Roasted Red Pepper was very good, the veggies were cold and crisp, and the pita bread was soft and warm. Not a bad value for ten bucks, but the actual amount of hummus wasn't very generous. I ordered one of the entrees - a Seared Sesame Ahi Tuna Bowl for $18. It was a big serving of six tuna slices with red quinoa & buckwheat, maybe two dozen crispy chickpeas, shaved carrots, sliced avocado, and arugula with a herb lemon dressing. The dish tasted great and was a pretty good value, considering the large serving. We also ordered a Reuben Sandwich ($14) of shaved corned beef, Thousand Island dressing, house made sauerkraut, and Fontina cheese, on Marbled Rye. The sandwich tasted great (especially the bread) but the weak link was the quantity of corned beef - not nearly enough. My Diet Coke $3 and that price speaks for itself -it was high. Our modest dinner ran around $47 (after tax) and I didn't really feel our overall value was there. Yes, the view was nice, the service was friendly, and the menu was varied. If you're attending a show at Bridge Street, it does make a lot of sense to eat here as a convenience. Otherwise, I'm not really convinced to go through that Green Door again. read more

Well, this has to be one of my favorite discoveries of the year. Except I've known about Bridge Street Live for months and months without heading out to beautiful Collinsville for a show. Yes, shame on me. Bridge Street always posts their concerts on Yelp events, which is how I found out about last night's Tristan Prettyman show. I thought "hey, I listened to this gal in college!" then got nostalgic about folksy chick rock and bought a pair of tickets. After being greeted by some friendly staff, my friend and I entered an intimate music hall filled with dozens of round tables seating 2-6 people. While many had a 'reserved' sign (VIP tickets were available for $10 extra), we found a table in a great location with a clear view of the stage. After seeing that cocktails were $12 each, I grumbled and put the menu down. Later on, my friend and I caved and to our delight, I received a glass of ice and a freakin CARAFE filled with my elderflower-prosecco cocktail. Holy money's worth! There were at least 2 full glasses in there. Sangria was served in Long Trail pint glasses. So, for the $12, you get a TON of your choice libation. Desserts ($7) were delicious as well from the berry cobbler to the rich, fudgey chocolate lava cake. And, for the main attraction AND the cherry on top, the Tristan Prettyman show was just the BEST. Venue acoustics were perfect. I really can't say enough good things about this place. We stopped at Francesa's wine bar beforehand for dinner but Bridge Street Live has a nice looking 'cabaret' menu as well. In a lovely, quaint location, this is the ideal spot for dinner and a show. John J. indicated that we should eat ahead of time. He provided a great tip. I planned to eat earlier in the day but, missed the opportunity and wound up fending for myself at this restaurant. The food is OK, I discussed the menu with our server. The menu changes frequently, this evening it seems the food choices were limited to sliders, cheese plates and salads. We did not go hungry, the veggie sliders were tasty, the cheese and meat plates were nicely presented and quite good. The servers were pleasant. A great live artist was playing Eilen Jewell and her band. She has a guitarist that rocks it, drummer and bass fiddle. I love the bass fiddle - he plays it indie style / rhythm an blues. Can't describe it really. They play some Loretta Lynn music and some of their own creations as well. Definitely worth a listen. We had awesome seats very near the stage and the wait staff was attentive, making the experience more enjoyable. Great venue for live music. Highly recommend, I also recommend you eat a real meal before you go and enjoy an appetizer or two while at the show. read more

Went for a comedy show and that was a real hoot. Not a very busy night so it was surprising that the service was so slow. We placed a drink order and then the waitress picked up our menu and brought it to another table. They got their food and drink order before we got ours. We ordered a mixed drink each (a bees knees) and oh my - there was so much alcohol in one drink. Not sure if it was an over-pour or if the drink is supposed to have 3 shots but these suckers need a warning label. Not safe. Well it's a great location and a super facility so hopefully they can fix the stumbles and improve. We'll try again (the shows and food but not a mixed drink) because the location is so charming. read more

Someone finally had the lightbulb going on to bring a live Iron Horsey music venue to this cool little village. Stick to the music and dine over @ the Crown prior to the show. Well worth a trip to Collinsville. They get John Gorka, Jimmy Vaughn, Dan Hicks, Bill Kirchen, Adrian Legg...lots of stuff that could probably play at Club Helsinki as well. The star is for the entertainment, NOT the venue which I would give 0 stars. We paid for s VIP table for a great show however that is where it ends. We saw the server assigned to our table 2 times. She took our order and brought us our bill and expected a tip. That's it! The venue gives you a battery operated table number, if you turn on the light, it means you want service. Forget about it... You can set it on fire and never see your server again. We gave up on our server Natalie after an hour plus. Even our food was delivered by someone else with no utensils to eat it with and no napkins. Wow, thanks for the burrata, we'll just lick it off the plate ...... I complained and I w as promised a coupon for a free entree that never came either much like our server. I will never return or recommend. Seriously, you will starve here and leave dehydated. Bridge Street Live is certainly making it's mark as a destination in the CT entertainment circuit. The parking layout and surface isn't the best, but there seemed to be enough space when we arrived. The venue itself is quite nice, and the staff was friendly. The sound was done very well (at least for the night we were there), and they seem to have some pretty good acoustics going on. Bathrooms were pretty clean, and the overall layout of the venue was very good. The seating was ok as well. Unfortunately, service was a bit slow as the customer to server ratio was quite lopsided. Just like at Toads, if you want a drink fast, then you better go get it yourself. We had dinner elsewhere, so we can't comment on the food. The main reason I'm not giving BSL 4 stars is because of the drink prices vs. the drink quality. I totally understand that a venue like this will be charging top dollar for drinks, but at least serve some good-tasting drinks! The mixed drinks we had were pretty bad. Overall, we liked it and will be back. We'll just need to drink water, or something else instead of mixed drinks next time. read more

This is my favorite CT live music venue by far!!! Very intimate setting great talent, Perfect acoustics, all kinds of genres. General manager does a great job bringing in only the best. I've always have a great time and have seen many very memorable shows. We're lucky to have such a good place to see live music and comedy shows. The town of Collinsville's is close by And is a very cool historic little enclave of Canton. It's like being in Vermont for the day. There's a few places to eat very close by, but eating at the Green Door is your best bet. It's really convenient to eat and drink right there At the venue Bridge Street Live. before the show and not feel stressed to have to eat somewhere else and make it there on time. The food is delicious and the bar staff with especially bartender Kaitlyn treated us like the VIPs we are and Took care of us with great service! We arrived 30 minutes before the show started, well ahead of time to get a table and hopefully order a drink or two. After 30 minutes our drinks (beers only!) had still not arrived, despite a few inquiries to the waitresses. After 45 minutes, yes 45, we finally got our drinks... However, no comedian yet despite being 15 minutes after the start time. After 40 minutes of waiting the comedians finally went on stage, and they were mediocre at best, which might have been ok and passable had the previous 75 minutes been enjoyable but it just added irritation onto an already bad start. Not worth the 3 hours spent there, definitely wouldn't recommend and definitely won't be back. read more

BSL: Why didn't I know about you before now?? My friend who lives in town invited me to see the Sierra Leone All Stars. What a great band and what a great venue. We were in the smaller music hall and I know they have a larger one for bigger shows. They have wait service that comes to your table to see if you want something to drink. They offer beer, wine, and specialty cocktails. There are little signs on your table that if you click on are red (meaning you're all set) and if you click them to white means you need to order something. They offer a limited food menu with some apps and simple entrees like sandwiches and salads. They have a great outdoor deck that overlooks the water. They offer Sunday brunch which is out on the deck. I would definitely go for brunch for the views and would go to another show in a heartbeat. read more

Well, we went for the 2017 opening of Bridge Street. I am giving a 1 star review only for the restaurant and if I could give a minus star I would. The show was great as it always is but our dinner...... We will NEVER eat there again. We arrived at 6 p.m. with reservations and we were seated right away. No one came over to offer drinks until 6:20 with an excuse of "no one told me you were seated". Fine, we ordered our drinks. Now the time is 6:40 and our drinks come and as the waitress is taking everything off the tray she dumps my friends drink and half of another drink and it went all over. Ok, these things happen but we are now a little upset as we have been here for 40 minutes and drinks were spilled on us. Our friend had half of his drink spilled and no-one offered to replace it. He had to get up, go to the bar and have his own drink refilled. I am not even sure what time it is now but we have not even ordered our dinner. Finally the drinks are cleaned up and the waitress comes back 10 minutes later to take our order. My husband ordered an appetizer of wings and a burger. I ordered a Cobb salad our friends ordered a burger with sauteéd onions. He made sure to ask if the onions were sautéed as he does not like raw onions. My husband asked to have all the food come at once. The wings came and no other food. The appetizer was 5 wings for $12. That was not a dish worth $12. I will say they were tasty however. We asked where our entrees were and the waitress said she was sorry she did not know what happened but our food would be about another 10 minutes. It was 7:40 when our salads and burgers arrived. I was worried we would not be able to eat and see the show. The show starts at 8. My Cobb salad was $17 and there was very little lettuce, 3 slices of avocado, 1/2 an egg, very dried out chicken and a little bacon sprinkled on top. $17!! There is absolutely no way that salad was worth $17. My friend had a salad with chicken as well and the same is true of that salad as well. $17. My husband's burger was pink and he ordered it well. He could not even hold the burger as the bun disintegrated in his hands because of all the grease. It was really disgusting. He called someone over and asked them if they would eat that burger. Then he said he was not going to pay for it as he could not eat it. Truly awful looking. Our friends burger was the same way and there were no sautéed onions...they were raw. It is almost 8 now and we asked for our check. I was not part of settling the bill as I went to our table. I did find out there was no "manager" that evening and some of the excuses were this was only their second year operating the restaurant, they had no idea there would be so many people. I said WHAT!? All the tables were reserved. They knew how many people were coming. Some guests got their food (they arrived after us and got food before us) some guests never got their food and they just got up at right before the show and walked out. This is the second time we have eaten in the restaurant. The first was about 4 years ago and pretty much the same thing happened. We were not comped anything either.....not even a drink but, my husband refused to pay for the burger and they accepted that. We were naive enough to think things had changed....apparently not. I always tell people how great Bridge Street is and I will continue but I will always tell them not to eat there...ever. We will NEVER eat at The Green Door again. NEVER! read more

Just had the worst $15 burger. Good thing I came for the music. Seriously how do you screw up a burger. With a limited menu you would think they could at least get it right. I can't imagine the two burgers our table got were the only unimpressive ones. Will I come back? Definitely for the music. Great place to hear music. The service was wonderful though. The last time I was here the food was good. But you can tell they are skimping on the quality. Even the tomato was paper thin. 5+ stars for the music venue. Just went to here for a birthday party. What a cool and unexpected place! They had a really good comedy show plus a bar and restaurant - all great. We couldn't get over how nicely done the place was - all in art deco style, fresh and clean. It's tucked away in Collinsville so look for it. Very bad experience. Our reservation was lost; we were placed a table that was out of the way and had terrible service. We had to keep asking for our orders. Place was over crowded and understaffed. Salad had brown, wilted lettuce. We waited for 40 minutes for drinks. Wait staff was over burdened - true sign of poor management. Will never ho back again. We actually were charged $2.00 for ice!! I went there for dinner last night and the food was absolutely delicious. I had the Pasta Primavera and the veggies were so fresh and tasty. The atmosphere and table decor were amazing. pretty cool little live music venue that gets some interesting acts. every time i have been it has been set up like a cabaret, everyone sits at tables and they have waitresses bring out drinks. you have a little light up sign on the table and if you want service you push a button and it calls them over. we had two beers last time and it was $15 or so for two domestic beers - not cheap. try to get there before the show starts - if you are walking in during a performance the door is right next to the stage. a decent intimate venue, cool acts .. if you get a chance to check it out it is worthwhile! read more

on 3/17/18 we went to watch a comedy show. sat at table 56. I ordered 2 beers when we 1st sat down. Later in the show I ordered another beer. Which I never received, and yet when a waitress finally did come over with the bill they had charged me for 3 beers. The place is very dark so you have a hard time reading the bill. They say honesty is the best policy, well the staff at Bridge street live doesn't agree. btw- I overheard the table behind us telling the waitress they had gotten charged for 5 drinks after only receiving 4. read more

So I have very mixed feelings about this place. First the good: GREAT venue to see a show! Professional lightening and sound, and there really are no bad seats anywhere. Now for the bad: the restaurant is VERY loud. We were yelling at each other in order to talk. The food was quite good, however, the service was probably the worst I've ever experienced in a restaurant. Our waitress seemed like she had never waited tables before, and there didn't seem to be any help for her. We were the first people to sit, there were only two of us, and it took over an hour for us to get our food. We will definitely go back, but go somewhere else to eat first. read more

As a music venue it is very good, however the restaurant called the Green Door is way below par. We went for a couple of hours to listen to some local acoustic music, which was very good, however we ordered a few apps, which were not. Got a humus platter that had withered and dry veggies to dip, and very few of them, and also Tacos $12 for 2 that barely had anything in them and tasted like "nothing". Heard another table also discussing how overpriced and poor their food was; also the drinks are over priced and weak.. come on $6 buds and bud lites.. The service was awful! Party of 6, 2 received their meal on time, 3 others came 10 to 15 morning mins later, after many requests the final meal came 45 mins after the 1st! That was 5 mins before the show started, apologies were said,we were told meals would be free because of the "mixup" and a free drink at the show. Free drink never came, and an appetizer never came either, not worth arguing, won't ever go to the restaurant again! Hope you won't either. Show was good, eat before you go! We ordered tickets on-line to an event two weeks in advance. A confirmation was received via email indicating that the purchase was received. Additionally, the notice specified the number of tickets, their cost, the additional handling fee, that all sales are final and that the tickets would be held at "will call". When we arrived at the venue and presented identification, the box office attendant said that they had no tickets for us. We then produced the printed confirmation notice from Vendini, their sales agent, and the manager checked their booking system. He claimed that the purchase was not made nor verified through Vendini. He could not explain how we had received our written notification. We were told that the event was sold out and that no accommodations could be made for us. Having previously attended several shows at the facility and been favorably impressed with the comfort, service and value, I was stunned at the complete lack of consideration for our plight. Despite the evidence of securing tickets, we were turned away without any reasonable offer to provide alternative admission or mitigate the inconvenience. Having the options to solicit other music venues in the region, it is unlikely that I will ever return to Bridge Street Live. read more

Last night we saw a concert at this venue and we were fuming. We dropped almost $80 for reserved seating and arrived in a timely manner only to find their parking lot packed with cars. Apparently the town had some kind of public Halloween event scheduled and Bridge Street Live gave permission for the public to use their lot--leaving the concert goers to catch as catch can. Come on, Bridge Street! Use your head! You should of at lest assigned some parking for the people coming to the show, especially the ones who pre-paid for tickets. At the start of the show, I guess the owner got up and told the audience how wonder we are to put up with the congestion. As Grandpa Walton used to say: "Sorry don't feed the bulldog." read more

Went to the new Green Door Speakeasy restaurant last weekend. I have to say I had the best hamburger I have ever had. It was big with great flavor and cooked perfectly! I also tasted the steak and blue cheese flatbread. Just yummy! Service was great. The waitstaff was very attentive. I will certainly eat there again. read more

Great experience for 6 women out for Girls' Weekend! We arrived about 1/2 hour before the doors opened at 7:00, and sat in the bar overlooking the Farmington River. We planned to have a few drinks before the comedy show and order some dinner. When I explained my many food allergies, the waitress went and got the chef (Diane) who was very attentive to my allergies and concerned to make sure I ate safely. (If you read my other reviews, you will see that this is not always the case!) The menu was mostly salads, sliders, cheese/meat plate, etc. (You can view the Cabaret Menu on the Bridge Street website). I ended up with a large salad with cold sliced chicken (UN-seasoned since that was what she could give me that was gluten- and dairy-free) with bacon and a balsamic dressing. It was very good. My friends ordered the sliders (which they said were fantastic), and my friend who is something of a Caesar salad aficionado, said it was the best Caesar salad she's ever had! The comedians were great ... the bar was a little slow (but the cocktails were delicious! I loved the Ladies Night!). Overall a great venue ... my only wish is that the menu had some items that were inherently gluten- and dairy-free (i.e. that the dressing didn't have dairy in it, and that the chicken seasoning didn't have gluten). But I can't express enough how impressed I was with the attention to detail to ensure that I did eat safely!! read more

my son and i took in a boston vs new york comedy show, featuring 4 different comedians. three of the four were exceptional and the remaining one was quite good. service was excellent, even though they warned us they didn't expect to be so full and were short staffed. great time. my only suggestion is print your tickets off in advance -- not just a confirmation either. the one guy in the ticket booth is slower than molasses in the artic, painfully slow, very painfully slow, and all of us int he long long couldn't believe how slow, while the guy waiting to take tickets could do nothing. i hope the owner does something to correct this. other than that one speed bump, this is the third time we've had a great time there. read more

Had dinner tonight before the 8o'clock show, me and my date loved the new Green Door Speakeasy Grill. The menu is great, we got there at 6:30 out waiter Chris was right there when we were seated. The staff from the start was friendly and welcoming. We ordered the Salmon three ways appetizer, it had lox with capers and onions, smoked salmon and a salmon cake it was really awesome the lox were amazing. I ordered the ribeye, I got it medium rare just like I order. My date got the seared duck, it was soooo good. The only thing missing was bread or maybe a salad, but we found out after the meal that we could have asked for bread and for an extra charge a side salad. For next time we know. We are definitely coming to eat at this place again even if we are not coming for the show the food was amazing. I have attended several shows and eaten here several times over the last 2 seasons. I have had both great service and great food each time, not to mention the great entertainment that followed. This weekend was no exception. Usually I go for the lighter fare, a burger or a wrap and such-but this time I decided to go for the 'works' as the restaurant has stepped up its game by several notches. To be clear (and new to this season) you can no longer get food items off the menu served in the concert hall section, so I arrived earlier and ate in the main restaurant. I was well rewarded for my efforts! I had the Salmon and it was out of this world, honestly among the best I have ever had, certainly in the top 3. You will not be disappointed! Heard about this place called 41 Bridge St. and a new restaurant called the green door so figured I would take the wife. Turns out the view is Beautiful, the food is amazing, and the service is right on point. The wait staff was very attentive and friendly. My wife likes her burgers well done and this thing was huge and juicy. The speakeasy salad was a treat and the steak and blue cheese flatbread was amazing. My wife loved so much she can't wait for the spring to sit on the patio. Looking forward to going again soon. read more

The Green Door Speakeasy At Bridge Street Live Of all the dining experiences I've enjoyed or, in some cases, endured, last night's excursion to the "new" dining experience at Bridge Street in Collinsville was the absolute worst in recent memory. Maybe the worst ever. The only thing that could have made it any worse would have been contracting food poisoning with vomiting and explosive diarrhea. The saving grace was our good friends and dining companions which at least allowed for a few laughs. First thing you need to know is that the restaurant is leased and is separate from the great entertainment that Bridge Street Live provides. So please go - enjoy -laugh -drink (if you can get somebody to take your order... but more on that later). Just DO NOT EAT THERE! Here's the deal. We arrived at 6pm to give us plenty of time to eat and catch up with our friends. We had a reservation and a very nice man took us to our table. So, the first indication that this was not going to go well is that the "new, improved" speakeasy atmosphere was nowhere to be found. The place looked exactly like it did last year and the year before. So much for my anticipation of a fun 20's style prohibition venue. After we sat at our table (at this point there were only 2 other parties in the place), we waited nearly 20 minutes to even SEE our server. I made a smart, but funny, remark about her efficiency. She was not amused. She made excuses about being the first night and they only had one day of training and no one told her we were seated. Um, lady, have you heard of checking your station? We give her our drink orders. Nearly 20 minutes later, the drinks arrive. And she proceeds to tip the tray and flood the table with club sodas, vodka tonics and wine. I'm starting to get pissed off. It takes a lot to get me pissed off, but I am having premonitions of what the rest of this debacle is going to be. More apologies and excuses. We figure we better get our orders in immediately or we may miss the first comedian ( last night was a comedy show - I just didn't know it was going to spill over into our meal time) Remember I told you we were there at 6 o'clock? Food got to us at 7:40. Several other tables, that had arrived MUCH later than we did, had gotten their food before us. I complained. I got apologies and excuses. Oh, by the way, several tables got really lucky - their food never came out! They were mad, but I spoke with them afterward and let them know that they dodged a bullet. The food, when it finally arrived,was mediocre at best. Inedible at worst. My wife ordered the Cobb Salad. $17! Maybe two bucks worth of lettuce, a couple pieces of hard boiled egg and some bleu cheese. She did say it was ok, but not $17 worth of OK. Next the Korean style chicken wings. Not bad flavor, but $12 for 5 wings FIVE WINGS! Let me now tell you about my burger - The Green Door Burger 15 1/2 lb. short rib & sirloin burger, cheddar, avocado, grilled onions, bacon, speakeasy sauce - (I copied that from the menu) First notice it says 1/2 pound. Maybe, if you weighed the thing with the plate. Fifteen dollars and they can't throw in some fries? Guess not - 6 or 7 potato chips are good enough for this gastronomical delight. Notice it says grilled onion? Nope. 3 rings of raw red onion sitting on a tomato (no tomato in the description) and some wilted lettuce. My friend does not like raw onion and asked twice to confirm the onions were grilled. He was assured they were. I saw no avocado and the "speakeasy sauce" was a small cup of what looked like Thousand Island and added nothing to the dish. The lower bun was soaked with grease to the point of falling apart. I sent it back and had to fight with them to have it taken off my bill. This place would have to improve twofold just to get to "bad". I have gone on and on here and have barely scratched the surface of this abomination of a dining experience. We have eaten here maybe 2 or three times before over the years and have never had a good experience. This was without a doubt the absolute worst. We keep thinking "This time will be better". Nope. Fool me once, shame on you.... Bottom line - lousy service, lousy food, overpriced and apologies and excuses. Fool me twice... shame on me. read more

Shows - music and comedy both - are just great. Food can be great. I had truffle macaroni and cheese once which was fab! Crab cakes are also great. I know they are adjusting menu and need feed back. Went for dinner and a show with the VIP reserve tickets. Food was great, service was OK. Considering we still had lots of time before the show, they never asked if we wanted desert (which was fine as dinner and drinks were pricey enough). Drink service during the show was dismal, but having read another review, we didn't realize that was what the lit signs on the tables were for...( Neither my friend or I heard the server say that when she delivered our only table service drinks before the show- so we had to fend for ourselves the rest of the evening. Wish they had considered square tables in the club itself, as it made seating for 4 awkward around 2 small round tables and for others that had the cabaret menu during the show. The venue itself is nicely decorated and spotless. Good acoustics, and perfect size. I did ask if they had earplugs available, as I forgot mine and have to be mindful with a hearing loss...They did not, so something they should consider having on hand. Also, the performer had to ask for some water to be brought to the stage which you think they would have anticipated the need on a hot summer night for someone playing and singing their heart out! Will definitely go back, but a little wiser next time and will probably skip dinner there in anticipation of how expensive drinks are. read more

I had, by far, the worst service I have ever experienced here. Our waitress ruined what would have been a perfectly enjoyable evening otherwise. Poor service and bad food aside, her nasty attitude has lost a customer for good over a $7 drink. We waited quite a while both for her to take our order and to get it. Ok, it was busy with a show going on, I get that. When she finally got back to us to ask if we wanted another round of drinks, we said yes, and also asked for some water, she vanished again. Then returned with a large pile of orders, said she didn't know what we had, so we told her. Also reminded her we needed water again. After quite a long while, a different waiter brought me the wrong drink, which I returned. He took that off my bill without being asked, but my friend never did get her second drink. We were waiting for our first waitress to come back to pay the check, which had the drink we never got on it, so we asked a third waitress to please remove the drink we never got from the bill, she whites it out but did not correct the total. We mentioned we never got water, either. She replied with quite the snippy attitude, "have a nice evening". I had to chase down waitress #1 to pay the bill, since the show was over and we wanted to go. I gave her the correct amount, she said it wasn't enough. I pulled out my phone to add it for her, when she INSISTED the empty drink glass (from my friend's first drink) was evidence of the never-received drink (!!). I explained that it never got there, she argued about that. We also reminded her she never brought our water. Her response was,"it got very busy, your glass of water was not a priority". She also advised she had been waitressing for 20 years, and knew what she was doing. I must disagree. A waitress of 20 years would not be that scattered and disorganized. Neither would she have such a rotten customer service attitude. I can't speak for my friend, but I will not patronize an establishment that treats customers that way. I gave every possible allowance (busy, understanding that pub food and service is not a 5-star restaurant, etc) but an attitude like that is absolutely inexcusable. read more
