To make a long story short, they've really gone out of there way on more than one occasion to help me with car issues. The workers and management here are kind, professional, and really just care about helping customers with their vehicles. The first story was earlier this year with my wife's car. We drove to church on Sunday and noticed that there was a ticking sound in the engine. Walmart was the only oil change place in town that was open, so I took it there. After looking at it for a good 45 minutes, they refused even to put oil in it. They said it was "definitely a rod knock," and "the oil filter is a cheap off brand and is leaking so we can't look at it." Anyway, I was pretty nervous after that. My wife was pretty sure the last place she got her oil changed was here at Harris, so Monday morning I called them up. I let them know the situation, and the manager came to my apartment and put oil in it for me so I didn't have to drive it, potentially dangerously. Upon looking at the filter, he said it wasn't leaking, there was just a bit of residue on it. Also, they didn't use those filters so my wife hadn't actually been there for her last oil change. Despite that, they still took care of us and helped us. It wasn't a rod knock by the way, it just needed a bit of oil. The second story happened just yesterday. I'm borrowing a family vehicle at the moment, and my family asked if I could get the oil changed while I have it. I took it in, and immediately there was a problem. The oil plug wasn't coming out. The threads were stripped from the last place my family had taken it. The worker started explaining to me that I should take it where it was serviced last because of the stripped bolt. The manager heard this, and came over to talk to me. I explained that it wasn't my vehicle, I wasn't sure where it was serviced last, and it was definitely not in town. He then took care of it himself. After working at it for a few minutes. he got the stripped bolt out, had to tap in new threads, and put in a new plug. He didn't have to do all of that, especially since they could have turned me away and avoided all responsibility. They didn't. They fixed the problem for me quickly, when they didn't need to per their policies, and for a very fair price. They really distinguish themselves from other auto service businesses I've gone to. I really appreciate the workers here and highly recommend their services!

After paying for a clutch replacement, my vehicle suffered a catastrophic mechanical failure while in motion. The ball joints--which were installed by this shop--popped out of the lower control arm, causing the wheel assembly to collapse and resulting in significant damage to the axle, wheel, and body. An independent inspection by a certified mechanic confirmed the failure was due to improper and negligent installation, not a part defect. Beyond the safety failure, the billing practices here are predatory: Double-Dipping on Labor: I was charged two full, separate labor fees for a clutch and flywheel replacement, which are overlapping procedures. Charging for Shop Errors: Technicians broke my brake caliper and the original ball joints during the repair; instead of taking responsibility, the shop charged me for the replacement parts. Lack of Accountability: I have sent a formal, legal demand letter via certified mail detailing these issues. The shop has received the letter but has completely neglected and ignored all communication. If you value your safety and your wallet, I strongly recommend taking your vehicle elsewhere. I have filed a formal complaint with the Arkansas Attorney General and am pursuing further legal action.
