The first year, Dean Labelle quoted me a price not knowing that I had a small business and still honored the lower price. This year I received a late penalty for my 2018 state taxes even know I sent of the payment before April15 . When I called the Illinois Department of Revenue they said it was because I owed them $550 and $500 is the maximum you can owe before penalties. The representative suggested I send off the $39 penalty with a note requesting "abatement of late estimated  payment penalty" --- I figured I should call Dean and get his advice. We have worked with him multiple times over the past 20 years now and I wouldn't work with anyone else! The only disappointment we have and it isn't Ed but rather the industry as a whole is how the evaluation of property value is done. When there is a sale of a home, magically the value is approved and makes sense most of the time. On a refinance, no one seemingly "fights" or stands up to a pure numbers game without any consideration to the condition of the home or upgrades needed or improvements made etc. this was quite disappointing and something I feel like the industry can do better for customers with.
