From the scheduler, to the install technicians and maintenance teams to their manager, even the owner! I've had the opportunity to work with them all and it has always been a great experience! A couple of years ago I fell on hard times and it was COLD... My furnace was getting old and the fix wasn't cheap, I couldn't afford it. They stayed and refused to leave me and the boys in the cold even if it took me time to pay for it. I was VERY stubborn and they told me it was ok to let someone help me... that's something that I have never forgotten. That's genuine. Last week Don and Chase came out and installed a new furnace. Great guys! Called at 8:30 on the dot and we're here less than 30 minutes later. Cleaned up afterwards and even fixed some of the duct work that needed some attention. I will forever 10/10 recommend! They also walked me through getting warranty work that a contractor was trying to get of doing, again, they were spot on. They knew every trick they were trying to pull to get out of doing it. Free advice saved me a bundle of money again. The only time they actually came out to service my furnace, the technician spent an hour troubleshooting and found that the blower fan wasn't installed properly. He fixed the issue and only charged me for the service call. You don't find honest businesses like these guys very often. They could've attempted upcharging me for things I didn't need, but never even tried. Just good honest people that know their business well. I'll continue using them in the future for sure.

My furnace was making really loud noises and I needed a repair done. I had a couple of companies give me an estimate but Ecofficient beat the price and the timeline of other local companies. Ecofficient took the time to explain the problem, what my options were, and they were able to get my parts and furnace fixed within a day of the assessment. Hartland Electric was hired to do the scheduled maintenance on my generator. A short time later…read morethe power went out, the generator went on but would not run properly, ran rough, and would not power the house. I contated Hartland Electric to come take a look and they referred me to a partner of theirs that does repairs instead. I scheduled the repair and when the technician arrived, within 5 minutes he found that one of the two spark plug wires was not reconnected after Hartland Electric did their maintenance. The cost of this unnecessary service call was over $100. I contacted Hartland Electric to inform them of their employees mistake in not reconnecting the spark plug wire, and they said they would look into it and call me back which they never did. Very poor and unethical customer service to not stand behind their work. I would recommend a different electrician!!

We purchased a whole house Generac generator from Hartland Electric in October of 2021 with a 10…read moreyear warranty. Hartland Electric claims to be a Generac authorized dealer. We had to pay for it up front, at that time. We were told it would be at least 6 months before it would be available. Eight months later on July 5, 2022 it was installed. It exercised weekly as it should have. Our first power outage was in late August. The generator worked as it should have according to the Mobil Link app. Imagine our surprise when we returned home only to find the outside cabinet covered in oil. When we opened the lid, the entire contents were covered with oil and black flecks. Upon contacting Hartland electric they came out and tried to clean up the mess. Jeff changed the oil and filter and let it run while he went to other calls. He came back 3 hours later and again, everything was covered with oil. He gave us a customer service phone number to Generac and washed his hands of us. Jeff and the owner (his wife) did not return any phone calls after that. Basically took our money and left us high and dry with a defective Generac Generator. Very poor customer service.

Their on call service tech called me back within minutes. He took down my information and said he'd be out to my house within a half hour. He came out in the time he stated and had my furnace back up and running in no time. (It needed a new pressure switch, which thankfully he had out in his truck.) Service call, new part, and labor all came to a VERY fair and affordable price. Jeff was a great guy; professional, courteous, and he was sure to point out to me what he was doing on the unit itself.
