Brights is the gold standard for antique stores. Since moving to Tennessee 2+ years ago I have been to many antique stores in Tennessee and Kentucky. One of the first places I went to was Brights Antique World, I was amazed by the size, the inventory, and the friendly staff. Jodi, the manager is always helpful and truly works hard to keep the store running well. Linda and Riley are down to earth hard working people who truly care about their business. They do all sorts of little things to help customers out. They have benches in all the hallways to sit for a spell if you get tired, they have waters and such for a nominal price, they have good lighting and plenty of room to walk in the halls, there is plenty of parking as well. They have the flea market on the first and third Saturday's of the month. Riley works hard to make this an excellent place to shop or sell. It has a roof that not only covers the sellers but the customers as well. The prices of the antiques do vary and are competitive, especially when you consider a trip to McDonald's for two averages between $20-$25. Life is expensive these days! read more

Not worth the trip. I was a vendor for 1-1/2 summers. when I failed to pay the 40 vendor fee before show started they flipped out and sent two employees to visit with me in front of other vendors. It was a simple mistake not paying for our booth early. So I became embarrassed after the second consultation and responded about how I felt. I paid 40 cash for that day and reserved my booth with 60 cash that day. They then called me on following Monday and told me I needed to get my stuff out of their building. They were rude and self centered. They only care about filling their pockets. I spread business around town and at vintage market. I rented hotel room twice a month,ate at all restaurants and purchased a lot from other vendors. I would not do business with this market if i were you. read more

Wow, what a horrible attitude the manager of this place has - a lady in her 60's with grayish blonde hair. We asked to see an item in a display case to which we bought, as well as several other items. While my wife was waiting on the lady to get back with the key, I walked down the aisle looking at other booths. My wife catches up later and told me that lady is extremely grumpy. I didn't think much about it until we were checking out. The cashier rang up our items and all we had were $100 dollar bills. The change part of the total was 17 cents and my wife said "I have exact change if that will help". The cashier took the change and this manager came over and said, "give me that, she is just trying to mess you up". I waited until everything was finished and we were given the receipt. Then I told the manager the statement she made was uncalled for. She said that it wasn't and sarcastically told me to have a good day. I said, "really, that is how you treat customers? What did we do wrong? She told me to have a good day again (as sarcastically as she could) and to not come back. Well, there are no worries there. My husband and I have been going to this place for years. I was so vacation from work and wanted to go in. The entire time we were there we were treated like shoplifters. It happened last time as well but instead of a $2 record we were buying a pricey Civil War print. I guess they have a problem but I couldn't keep my job if I treated my customers like that ! Love, love, love this mall! Discovered Brights several years ago and drive a couple hours to get there several times a year. It is clean, and absolutely filled with great antiques. As with any antique store sometimes you find more than you can buy and other times it's just a browsing day but it is always enjoyable. Staff if always helpful and friendly. read more

First time here and really liked it. Clean, bright and the staff was super friendly! We bought a bunch and definitely will be back for more- way nicer than the Flea Land in Bowling Green! Loved that you could be given a number and have your purchases waiting at the desk where you check out ( a staff member would be walking around and take it for you)- nice touch. Everything was marked with prices and when we were finally done shopping ( about an hour later) and we went to pay EVERYTHING was wrapped and boxed waiting for us- another nice touch! We have visited antique stores (malls) all over the country and this is one of the better ones. They have much to offer and the prices are reasonable. The staff are friendly and very helpfull. Everytime we are in the area or traveling through, we stop at Bright's. I would highly recommend this antique mall. read more

I had a great visit to Bright's Antiques in Franklin, KY. The variety was so good, but even better were the helpful staff. Jody was extremely professional and knowledgeable about items as well as locations of the many booths. It's OK. A bit samey samey altogether. Odd layout but plenty to look at. Prices are ok. Parking lot is rough, dangerous and full of potholes. Mud spattered my car sides. Needs an upgrade badly. read more

One of my favorite dorky pleasures in this world is stopping off at huge antique-filled barns. Within these barns are vintage postcards, thousands of pieces of costume jewelry, creepy dolls, old portraits, cross-stich, dusty volumes and bric-a-brac. Joe and I spent a good two hours in Bright's milling around and I found the perfect little postcard of Lincoln's childhood home in Springfield, IL. (Joe loves Lincoln.) Other than that, we were good and didn't buy much else, but did grab a little butterscotch disc on the way out! What an amazingly fun antique store. Of course I'd come here again. This place deserves its 5 stars! Well worth the stop, just off I-65...and open on New Years Day as promised in another review. Well merchandised, an eclectic assortment of vendors, reasonable prices and helpful and friendly staff. My husband bought an old collapsible clothes rack for $35 (less 10%), that he saw at another mall for $88 and it was missing some arms. I was in the market for cuff links and found plenty...ranging in price from $1.99 to $400 (guess which part of the range I was shopping in?). We spent a couple of relaxing, enjoyable browsing hours and will stop in again if we're in the neighborhood next year. Great stop! read more

Great antique mall! The mall is large, very clean, and has a wide variety of dealers. The other good thing about the mall is they are open until 8:00PM. Most malls seem to close around 5:00PM. Great place to visit if you enjoy antiquing and close to the interstate. read more

My name is Jodetta Hale. I am both a customer and a vendor at Bright's Antique World. Bright's is the 10th mall I have worked with in my 20 years in business and by far it has met my needs the best. First and foremost, they value their customers, and show it by welcoming their guests with a friendly greeting, having a helpful and knowledgeable staff available for opening showcases, answering questions, helping the customer find a particular item, offering to take items to the counter, and calling the vendor when the customer has questions. They also provide a clean and comfortable building; including restrooms (with hot water-surprising how many do not), handicap accessibility, pet friendly, a working heat and air system which keeps the building comfortable even in extreme temperatures (which is no small feat due to the nature of its size and construction). Extended and DEPENDABLE shopping hours: Monday-Saturday 9:am to 8:pm and Sunday 10:am to 6:pm. They are closed only three days a year, Easter Sunday, Christmas Day, Thanksgiving Day, and closed Early(3:00 pm) on Christmas Eve- no disappointing locked doors, (except for the very rare instances of impassible roads etc.).If you arrive at Bright's during advertised hours, it will be open ; they do not change with the seasons. Vendors are obligated by contract to stock quality antique and vintage collectibles;should they decide a newer item merits stocking ( ie, Waterford, Lladro, etc.) , vendors are required to inform shoppers by clearly stating that on the tag. The inventory at Bright's is varied in scope of collecting categories and price. You can find vintage posters to fine art, vintage can openers to fine sterling silver, old water buckets to antique wine coolers, rhinestones to diamonds...and the list goes on. You will find quality merchandise fairly priced. For all of these reasons and many more, Bright's Antique world is a great place to do business whether you are a vendor, a shopper or as in my case, both. read more

This is a update on Bright's Antique Mall after they have commented on my review of the mall. I am still very unhappy with the way I was treated or should I say followed like a criminal while shopping in Bright's Antique Mall (if you think following customers around is great customer service your very wrong) I did feel like I was being singled out not sure why I did make purchase's and have in the past and will contine to do so in the future when I find deals. I do not see you as a high end mall nor are the rest in the local area you might feel like you are but I can asure you are not(everyone carries the same Fostoria, Weller, Fenton, Roseville, ect., ect.) yes you are over priced compared to other malls in the area but I guess the dealers have to be high on products when the rent is high. I can understand you wanting to getting to know the customers I know you and your wife try to do your best in doing this but this is not the way to do so especially when others talk about Bright's Antique Mall it tends to get around how things are done at your mall (but it's your mall). I was just telling my experience when I shopped at Bright's Antique Mall sorry if I have offened you but I am just telling my experience. read more
