Ameer was incredible! I've have many massages and am a massage therapist myself and can say that he provided the best massage I have ever received. He tailors his massage using different techniques and it was incredible. You can tell that he believes in healing the body with his massage. I have also had a lot of massages other places as well, as I have a chronic pain condition. I just had a massage with Emilia Zimmerman and it was definitely the best massage. She uses Ashiatsu technique (with the feet) which is what makes it unique. I don't think I can ever have a normal massage again. read more

I first went to Jolita a year ago when I was having extremely bad shoulder and neck pain. I was really desperate as my condition was becoming intolerable and distracting to my daily life. I couldn't get a full hour appointment on short notice, but luckily they offer shorter chair massage appointments. I made in that afternoon and have been going at least once a month for the past year. My wife and I joined the yearly membership program and she has had excellent facial treatments as well. Addressing my specific needs, Jolita asked many questions and made me feel really comfortable. She even spent some of extra time during that first appointment because I feel like she genuinely cared, whereas my previous experiences at other massage therapists had been more like 50 minute "hour" massage sessions. She really helped me with my symptoms and even gave me stretches to do that she thought would help. Since that appointment I have had ashiatsu and deep tissue massage from Jolita and Ben respectively. Ben is also extremely good. I have old injuries I have been fighting against and he has been able to target the muscles that need attention most. I leave feeling grateful and better than I went in. They're both extremely personable and genuinely nice people. I feel really safe and comfortable here and couldn't imagine going elsewhere at this point. Jolita treats her employees with respect and has formed a great team around her. COVID-19 has been extremely financially challenging for small businesses and even during a two month shut down she kept her staff, which I really really respect. Very lovely atmosphere once you get in the private room. I arrived for an evening message and the building was locked up. When I called and asked for someone to let me in the person who answered was very put out and annoyed with me asking for help. When I entered the building there were other therapists gathered in the hallway on their phones. Once I got into the message room and got ready for the message I informed the therapist my neck was strained. She spent a good 10 minimum trying to figure out the head rest. I asked for medium to deep tissue massage and reminded her a couple of times during, but it was very soft and did not really help my mussels. In addition to starting late, she ended early. I read the reviews and then the Bio's for the staff and decided I wanted to give Ameer a try. He was fantastic! I've had hundreds of massages and I'd definitely say he was in the top 3. His flow is natural and not jarring while he moves from one area of the body to the next. You can tell he's seasoned and can read your body and give the perfect pressure that it needs. Ameer at Brilliant Massage gave me one of the best sports massages I have ever received in my 38 years of having massages. His technique is superb and has been honed over his 20 years of practice. He found all of my knots, crunchies and tight spots developed over my 6 month road trip and 25,000 miles of driving. When I walked out of his business, I felt a spring in my step and about 25 pounds lighter. The most telling effect of the massage was when I took my blood pressure reading that evening. It was the lowest reading I have had in 6 months, since before I started the road trip. The effects of this relaxation lasted for days. I decided to give this place a try because of all the great reviews and unfortunately it didn't live up to expectations. I explained during the short consult what I needed done and to basically focus on my left side. Luis didn't listen to anything. I'm also left handed and he thought I was right handed. I've never had a massage therapist not figure that out. He was completely clueless and you could hear the other massage therapists having a conversation behind the very thin walls. It was a complete waste of money and I wish I would have went somewhere else. Thanks for refunding me Jolita. Sometimes when one gets a massage, one isn't aware of the time. That's why I didn't speak up. I kept thinking since we chatted about what to do beforehand, Luis would eventually get to it. Since I don't watch the clock when getting a massage, time was up before I knew about it. I know therapists are human, but also in a service industry and should start using their ears to listen. The noise was from the other therapists-not the outside. So I think the walls within the building are thin or maybe the other workers were really loud that day.
