After years if service we sold our home and they charged us $500 to cancel the service. Please please please do not ever hire this service, they are just money hungry low lives. i have had nothing but trouble with them. i am cancelling my service with them. for example, write now i am on the phone with them for over 30 minutes. of course, they will not let you cancel your account on line - you have to call them. i have had them for about 3 yrs. i have been hours on the phone multiple times. sometimes i get people outside the us, they promise to send new equipment, for example, the touch screen didn't work and never received did. we are away during the winter and can't trust that their freeze sensors and heat sensors work. again spent hours on the phone with them trying to fix them they were awful before covid - do you use them if you can avoid them. still on the phone - probably wont answer because they asked me why i was calling and said i wanted to cancel!!!!!!!! stay away if you can update - the only way you can cancel your account is to call in there is currently a 3 hours wait to speak to someone in their loyalty dept!!! i spoke to a tech rep who answered right away - i asked if i could send in a written communication and he said you could not write you had to call. can't text them, no email address to write in your request to cancel, can't make an apppointment, you just have to keep calling. weasley, in tech support said, try calling back tomorrow at 8 am - again have been on the phone for over an hour already awful customer service - do not use and this was even before covid - now it is extrremely bad read more
