This place has been on my list for a while now because The Rock recommended it. However, I'm almost never in this area, so I was excited to finally try it. Perhaps I had higher expectations, but essentially it was a standard like brick toast type of deal with a bunch of toppings/ingredients that you can put on to your liking. Maybe it would have looked more appealing in a plated sense, but because it just came in a box, it looked a bit underwhelming. The food itself was as expected, though most of my group thought it was a bit sweet (we shared it among 4 people, which was good because we would have gotten overwhelmed a bit with the sweetness). It was also a bit pricy but to be expected for a place in Westfield. Though I would have expected the portion size to be a bit bigger? Overall, not knocking this place, I'd recommend trying it for yourself and making your own evaluation. The taste itself is great if you want this sort of brique french toast sort of thing, but just be prepared for the taste.

Y'all DO NOT sleep on this spot. Brique French toast has one location in the nation & it's at the century city mall. Warm Brioche bread topped with Peanut Butter Coconut Maple Syrup, Vanilla Bean Whipped Cream and Toasted Coconut Chips is a heavenly combination. You will inhale this toast. Dwayne Johnson aka the Rock & his private chefs clearly know how to perfect the French toast cheat meals. We met co-owner & Chef Daniel Breiz who was super warm & friendly. Can't wait to come back for some more toast soon! PSA: it's fast casual so there's no seating inside but plenty of seating outside in the mall. And if you're not in the area they do nationwide shipping!

Okay, so I finally hit up Brique and WOW--now I completely understand why it's hyped as Dwayne Johnson's favorite cheat meal. This French Toast is EVERYTHING. Thick brioche, soft and pillowy on the inside, with just the right amount of caramelized edges for that perfect bite. The peanut butter coconut maple syrup? Unreal. Sweet, nutty, but not too much--just perfection. And then they hit you with vanilla bean whipped cream, crunchy toasted coconut chips, and freaking edible gold dust. Like what?! Chefs kiss. Hands down the best French toast I've ever had. If you haven't tried it, run, don't walk. Thank me later.

Yum! First of all, I love a good French toast, and I appreciate that Brique offers it any time of day. You don't have to limit it to breakfast anymore; you can enjoy it as a snack, lunch, or dinner. I loved the toast here, the thickness of the bread with the crunchy crust was perfect. The sides were a nice touch, but honestly, I could eat the bread by itself. The place definitely gave off a "bougie bread" vibe, which I'm all for! Fun fact: I heard that French toast is one of The Rock's favorite foods, and the owner of Brique is actually his private chef. So, if you're strolling through the Century City Mall, you absolutely need to grab a Brique!

I've been wanting to try this place out and finally had the opportunity to. I got a single order of their french toast which was prepared before my eyes. The french toast came with some peanut butter caramel, vanilla whipped cream, and some coconut chips. The french toast itself was already delicious. The bread was soft and cinamonny while not being overly sweet. The addition of the condiments and chips only enchanced the flavorness, giving a more nutty creamy taste. The chips gave a nice crunch in contrast to the soft bread. Overall, delicious snack and definitely a spot I would come back to again.

This has been on my radar for years and I am glad I got to try it out. The shop is located on second floor near Nordstrom In Westfield century city mall. I got lost the first time and when I did find it, it was closed so hopefully this is useful, just look for Nordstrom. The toast itself had great presentation with its fancy box and containers. I brought it home to reheat since I couldn't eat it there but the store can heat it for you if you want, it takes 4 minutes. I had it at home and it was a unique experience for toast. The coconut peanut butter maple syrup is the star of the show although everything went well together with he vanilla bean whip and coconut crisps. It's pricey but very indulgent. I would recommend everyone to at least try it once!

A little pricey , but expected. Sweet but not too sweet (not as decadent as Cinnabon), I'd get it again. 9/10

This was a lot better than I expected it to be. The toast was thick, buttery, and full of flavor. It was crispy on the edges and so soft inside. I didn't even have to use the toppings; it was delicious by itself. Though I am glad I tried the vanilla bean cream. It tasted like ice cream. The service was wonderful in their little shop. The cashier working there was kind, friendly, and fast. We even got a free ice cream scoop (promo)! The establishment has a seating area located on the outside, but being in a mall, you could literally eat wherever. I would come back!

    The BEST! Order extra whip!

The most beautiful and tasty french toast you ever did see! Came here after seeing it on social media and all of my expectations were exceeded. The brioche is thick and fluffy. The peanut butter maple syrup, toasted coconut flakes, and vanilla whip are divine. My only complaints are that I should have ordered my own versus sharing with my husband and ordered more whip cream on the side. You can also order to go - so my recommendation is to warm it up at home, serve with some bacon and coffee and you're good to go!

1st review of the year! I'm in so cal. First stop Brique French Toastery. I had to check what all the hype was about. Located inside Century mall, next to Macy's. Cute boutique look Friendly staff Uber delicious French toast - topped with whipped cream, coconut flakes, and a caramel peanut butter sauce. It's definitely worth the hype!

The review is for quality and presentation. I didn't come here but my sister catered their Toastery for my birthday brunch. The boxes are well made with the bit of metallic color for their logo. Little containers for the toppings are simple and hold the perfect amount. I ate my first one without any toppings!! I was just picking at it while talking my with friends before I knew I ate the whole thing without using the toppings. That's how delicious and fluffy the bread is. I was shocked when my sister told me she bought them 2 days ago. She had kept them in her fridge and we popped them in the oven as directed for 3 minutes. That was it. They were so good and they were a hit at the party!

Single brique loaded up with the toppings and peanut butter syrup

Absolutely the BEST and more unique French toast I've ever had in my life! I'm so picky with food and this is one of those things that just so good I could eat it almost every day! The customer is great! The owner is very nice and accommodating! You can get the Brique and heat it at home or you can request to have it heated up and ready to eat! The peanut butter maple syrup they make in house is insanely good! I've never had anything like it! And the vanilla bean whipped cream is also made in house and is the best whipped cream I've ever had! It really takes it to another level when you put it all together! Since coming here I have been a frequent returning customer and will continue to be! You've got to try Brique if you're in the LA area. And even if you're not it's definitely worth the drive to try it out! I used to go to their location in the mall! Can't wait until they open up their new store location

Decadent. No seating area in the shop but plenty of chairs in the mall. The person creating the brique was nice.

The drinks and pastries have always made it an easy place for us to grab a treat, so I'm not writing this based on one random first impression. Unfortunately, this visit was disappointing enough that I felt I needed to say something. When we came in, the trash cans were overflowing, and the floor looked like it had not been cleaned in quite some time. I understand that cafés can get very busy, especially in Little Tokyo, and I never expect a place to look perfect every second of the day. However, the dining area felt noticeably neglected. With two children, cleanliness is something I pay closer attention to, and it was uncomfortable trying to find a clean area for us to stand and sit. The overall atmosphere also felt disorganized. We waited at the register for help, but it took a while before anyone acknowledged us. A simple "I'll be right with you" would have made a big difference. I have had better experiences here in the past, which is why this visit stood out so much. I'm hoping this was simply a bad day, because Café Dulce has always been a place I was happy to visit with my family. I'm sharing this because I would genuinely like to see the cleanliness and customer service return to the standard I remember. Private Feedback for Management I did not feel comfortable putting the full details of this experience in a public review, but I believe management needs to be aware of what happened. While I was standing at the register waiting to order, the male employee working there was engaged in a conversation with another person and appeared to be openly gloating about drinking while on the job. Based on what I heard and observed, he also appeared to be impaired or intoxicated. He continued the conversation while ignoring me, even though I was standing directly in front of the register waiting to place an order. The tone of the conversation was not subtle or professional. It created a much darker and more uncomfortable atmosphere than what I would ever expect from a family-friendly café. I was there with my two children, and hearing someone behind the register casually talking about drinking while working was deeply concerning. Someone who appears intoxicated while operating a register and handling customers' money creates a terrible narrative for the business. It raises concerns about judgment, accuracy with transactions, food-service safety, and the overall professionalism of the workplace. Even if the employee was exaggerating or joking, it was still completely inappropriate to have that conversation openly in front of customers. What bothered me most was not only the conversation, but the fact that I was being ignored while it continued. I was waiting to spend money at the business, yet the employee seemed more interested in talking about drinking than acknowledging a customer. As a mother standing there with two children, the situation felt uncomfortable, disrespectful, and honestly a little disturbing. This is not my first time visiting Café Dulce, and I have never felt compelled to complain before. I understand that employees are human and that businesses have difficult days. However, the combination of overflowing trash cans, a dirty floor, being ignored at the register, and an employee appearing impaired while discussing drinking on the job crossed a line for me. I am sharing this privately because I believe management should have the opportunity to address it directly. I hope the situation is taken seriously, not only for the reputation of the café, but for the safety and comfort of the customers and employees.

It's more than enough time to run next door and grab your treats. I ordered a slice of the lemon loaf, a gluten-free cookie, and the classic chocolate chip cookie. The lemon loaf slice is huge, I'd say it's the equivalent of two slices, so it's definitely big enough to share. As for the cookies, Levain is known for making them thick and rich. A small piece goes a long way, making them perfect for savoring over a couple of days (if you have that much self-control!). The moment you walk inside, you're greeted by the incredible aroma of freshly baked pastries, and the service was warm and welcoming.
