I have a 2-year old roller solars shade in my home previously installed by the building developer. The metal chain of the roller shade came off track and was tangled, resulting in the roller shade to be stuck and not being able to be closed. Most blind companies Who responded only install new blinds/shades that you purchase from them. Greystone is the only one who offers the repair services. + Short wait time. I contacted Greystone on Friday and was able to get an appointment on Monday. Another company that offers the repair service has a 2-week waiting list. The Greystone technician was able to fix the off-track and tangled chain promptly so I could get a good night sleep with no city street light shining from outside again. + Prompt service. The technician communicated with me regularly on the day of the appointment. I received a call 30 minute before my appointment. When the technician couldn't find the building, he contacted me to confirm the address. I was given a one hour window for the arrival time, as opposed to the 4-hour window from other repair appointments. The technician arrived on time and fixed the blind within 30 minutes. The technician Humam was very courteous in all his communication. + Good quality work. The technician Humam did an excellent job. My roller shade can be closed and opened smoothly again. - Cash only. But they sent me a receipt. The quoted price included the tax. So I paid exactly what was quoted. + I would recommend Greystone Blinds to others who need installation and repair services for their roller blinds and solar shades.

The pull cord on a set of blinds snapped on a Sunday night. It is understandable that this will…read morehappen if you use your blinds frequently. Looking at the mechanism, the cord rubs against a roller that is serrated to catch on locking, so the pull cord will eventually fray and snap. Used Yelp to find Wang on Blinds which was about 5 minutes away. I stopped by around 10 am on the Monday. I brought the blind with me and advised that the pull cord had snapped. I also had the pull cord end with me. I was advised it would be $30 and to come back in the afternoon. They requested I pay upfront and that it is cash only. I returned at 1 pm and the blinds were ready. What? Yeah, less than 24 hrs after the pull cord snapped, I had the blinds back up and fully operational. The service was exceptional. It was a very positive service experience and I will definitely be returning the next time one of my blind pull cords snap.
