We picked Rebecca because we adored her style. We were not looking for formal, posed portraits for our wedding; we wanted to capture the real and spontaneous moments of the day that, to us, make it special. Rebecca does this flawlessly. Her photos capture the emotion and feeling of the moment in a really true and honest way. Because we were on a budget, Rebecca worked with us to give us a package that fit our needs at a price we could afford. She talked at length with us about what we were looking for, and made sure to get shots of details we wanted to be sure not to miss. Her professionalism was bar none, and she coordinated with other staff to ensure we got all the photos we wanted just right and without needing us to assist, so all we had to do was sit back and enjoy the day. The end result was nothing short of magical. I didn't expect to love the photos from the wedding as much as I do, but my husband and I find ourselves looking at them more often than expected just because they really capture the happiness and joy of the day in such a real way. She got photos of things I would never have remembered otherwise, and they are all so special. I look beautiful, my husband looks handsome, and all our friends and family look so happy. This experience was just as wonderful, if not more! Our session this year was on this past Sunday, a super cold winter day and we were her last session of the day. We were so excited for the beautiful boho setup and my toddler couldn't wait to see Ms. Anika's horses. When we rolled up, we were greeted by her same warm smile and it felt like it hadn't been a year since we saw her. Anika instantly makes you feel comfortable, which is so refreshing! I enjoy talking to her during the session and in all of our correspondence. She started off taking some photos of my husband and son. My toddler was super distracted by Anika's kitty, which was roaming around. It was so cute, and I don't know how she still managed to get incredibly beautiful photos of him while he was so distracted, but she did. The set for this year was so beautiful, with a boho style egg chair surrounded by sparkling, lit Christmas trees and other Christmas themed decor. She got great ones of all of us sitting in the chair, of myself and my son, and of just him. Once we finished with the set, she allowed my toddler to meet her beautiful horses - and he even got to pet them! 3 days later, he is still talking about the horses on the farm and how much he loved petting them. We then took some photos in a grassy area, with the setting sun behind us providing the most beautiful golden light. All of the photos are just indescribably beautiful. It was even more special that I am pregnant this year (and showing!) so we were able to get some wonderful maternity shots. Thank you, Anika, for giving us these memories two years in a row!
