Most of it's stories are just reprints from the Associated Press. The editorial board just regurgitates the typical mainstream liberal perspective. The small amount of local news coverage seems to be primarily devoted to sports. Rather than being the community resource it could be, the Record Eagle stands as a pathetic testament to how to waste an opportunity.

Then on August 25 I noticed I was still being charged, here is the explaination I got: "...you were unable to locate it because you had signed up on the back end, so your home address and phone number were not included in the account." I have no idea what the "back end" is, but it was obviously made available by the Record Eagle so they need to own it. The cancelled finally, but no refund. Poor business practices, the whole E-Edition interface needs work.
