I just had a pedicure there yesterday and the young lady doing my nails was very rough when working on my big toes. She dug out in grown toe nail, which often happens and it was really painful. The salon was filthy. The floors and equipment looked like they hadn't been cleaned ever. You can see in the photo how dirty the LED lamp was. The gel on my nails has chipped after only a week. This was very expensive as well. We paid over $250 for two gel manicures and two pedicures (one gel one regular). read more

Very Disappointed with the Service and Quality I've really tried to like my nails, but the overall experience has been completely disappointing. I initially went back to have them fix the nails they had previously done because they were in very poor condition. Many had lifting and uneven finishes. I kindly asked the technician if she could start over and apply a proper base, but she flat-out refused. Wish I could get back the last hour of my life. Would have been better off just having my little cousin paint my toes at home. Came in for a pedicure, nothing fancy. Just the basics. Overly aggressive with everything she did. Cut my cuticle so close to my skin that she included the skin in her clippers. Was handed colors to pick from and no where was it specified that the colors I was handed were gel colors that cost $10 more. [[HIGHLIGHT]]I asked for no scrub or lotion on my legs and was ignored twice.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] When she went to unplug the tub, she used a tool that she had just used on my feet... (hygiene?). When I went to pay, there was a dispute about the $10 gel no one told me I was getting. They not-so-kindly removed the upcharge. [[HIGHLIGHT]]I always tip in cash so I put 0 on the credit card machine, that was then ripped from my hand by the cashier who asked if I was going to leave a tip or not. Very unorganized and no communication. They sit you down, with no one available to help you. If the young guy with long hair in his eyes comes to do your pedicure, run. He cut my nails uneven and then to even them out they are so short they hurt. He left polish on the skin around the nails. I had to go home and clean up several toes. Came here on a Tuesday around 3:30 pm. I called first to make sure they had an opening for a fill. Lets start with the pros: They did a really good job. Lots of color selection. GOOD prices (a Gel fill was only $26) The inside is clean and has a good aesthetic Cons: They kept switching who was doing my nails, and i had to wait like 5-10 minutes in between each switch. Which was annoying (i was here over an hour for a fill and i had called before coming and they werent busy) The last lady who filed and finished my nails did it really aggressively. (She kept asking if it hurt because i would flinch, i would say yes, and she kept doing it) Overall a good experience. I dont live in Lacey, but if i did i would probably return because they do such a good job for such a good price. read more

I have been going to Britton Nails since the beginning when they had opened up. I would really enjoy my time getting my nails and pedi done but yesterday my experience was very uncomfortable and humiliating as a customer. When I walked in everything was going great and I didn't have to wait which was awesome! I had gotten my toes done first and the process was really fast. When the service was done, I had gotten out of the seat to sit somewhere different and was about to grab my shoes but the lady had grabbed it before me (mind you I didn't even ask her to do so) and she literally THREW it to the seat that I was assigned to. EVERYBODY even her coworkers in the shop was looking in shock and I felt very uncomfortable and confused as to why she had done that. I wanted to confront her and ask why but I was thinking that maybe she had a bad day and wanted to give her the benefit of doubt. Even previous pedi appointments, I would never be treated like that in such way, but this time I was shockingly disappointed. I'm sitting at the mani chair and it's the same lady that threw my shoes who was doing my nails. As a customer, I already felt very uncomfortable, disrespected and frustrated with the situation. The lady seemed irritated with me throughout the service and she did not ask me how I wanted my nails shaped and assumed which threw me off more after the previous incident. I basically reshaped them when I went home because it was bad. Another thing that was unprofessional was that she would be on her personal phone and answering calls during the service. I understand that as a employee you answer business calls to take appointments or emergencies but personal phones during the time that I (the customer) is paying over $66 plus tip?! I would expect better service PERIOD. Especially during COVID-19, you would expect that the workers would follow strict safety/sanitary regulations since they had taken a training (certificate) for which was hung on the wall, but cross contamination with germs was the least priority on their mind. As a loyal customer I was excited for my appointment but now I don't think I would go back especially being treated in such way. I have been to many nail salons in Lacey, but no customer should ever feel uncomfortable, disrespected, and humiliated EVER. The manager should do a better job in TRAINING their staffs and keeping them ACCOUNTABLE. read more

I love that they took me and a friend right away with no appointment. We just walked right in, told them what we wanted, and we sat down for our pedis. The ladies were really nice and welcoming. My pedicure felt so nice and the temperature of the water was perfect. She took her time and she made sure that I was comfortable, as I am 35 weeks pregnant. I got a full set done today, and I can honestly say that the colors, the length, and the shape is perfect! This is the first time EVER that I am fully satisfied of how my nails turned out. [[HIGHLIGHT]]When my wife went back to them, the owner or manager was extremely rude to her called her a liar along with the other workers.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]On top of that, they spoke in their other language and pointed and made fun of her.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] They are high priced compared to other places and just plain rude. I can't say for sure how they burned her feet... it usually is because the water is too hot or the callous remover isn't applied correctly, or worse, they used a "callous shaver" which is like a cheese grater and is so harmful to the skin that it can cause the chemicals to burn the customer's feet (I researched this.) A good reputable salon would be more careful and would most likely refund you at least... not call you a liar and make fun of you! They have left us with little choice than to report them to the cosmetologists/health board. read more

It used to be a good place... So of course I get the world's WORST pedicure by one of the males there. He sawed off my old gel pedicure with that electric tool, which hurt and was hot and cut me in several areas. He cut my big toenail on one foot too short. When I pointed it out I was told my feet have 2 different nail beds, which made me roll my eyes. He shouldn't have cut the one so short then. Then I got a manicure and got cut again in multiple places. The girl only charged for the mani. I thought I was getting a discount because the pedicure was so terrible. I signed the receipt for $51.00 plus a good tip for the discount. But I just checked my account and they went in and changed the charge to $116.00. I have never been so disappointed!! Upon arriving a lady hollered at me and asked what I came for and told me to "sit there" at one of the nail tables. I sat a good 20min in the chair before someone came to tend to me. It just seemed like the girl was in such a hurry. After a week of just getting a simple manicure I have had so many sores pop up that HURT!! The girl who worked on my nails scraped and cutt (with her tool) off a lot of stuff on my nails (which I thought were my cuticles) but later noticing she never pushed my cuticles back at all?! For years I have had my nails done even though it's a simple thing and I have NEVER had so many sensitive spots come up around my cuticles. Too bad I can't give a negative amout of stars here. My daughter and I came in for gel fills ... We had appointments as well. They were somewhat busy, but in reality just short handed for actual nail technitions - we were asked to sit in seats up front ... Waited about 5 minutes and then two different ladies came over. The older lady started mine and a very young girl started my daughter's. First of all she didn't understand anything I was saying - checking her cell phone constantly. Second, she did not know how to use the drimmel tool (or that is what it is called?) Just to remove the gel polish I had on. She made my nails so hot I thought they were going to ignite and catch fire. No joke. My daughter was experiencing the same thing. Then she began to cut me with the tool, she couldn't hold it steady enough to even keep it on my nail, it was skipping off and getting me under my fingers. After a brutal 20 Minutes just to remove the polish and being cut 6 different times, she then told me someone else would be over to finish me. Same with my daughter. The lady then went to sit in a pedicure chair, reclined back and played on her phone. It was then I realized that she had probably not done nails before, hence the horrible beating I received! We sat there for ten minutes then finally someone came over to finish my daughter, at that moment I decided I couldn't and would not trust them any longer. I complained, told them what was going on and they didn't seem surprised or concerned. I told them I would be filing a complaint with the health department, which I will later today. We left and went to a different salon ... Galaxy Nails, which was amazing and like a night and day difference! Please run from this place ... My hands hurt so bad, I have been getting my nails done for 30 years now and have never had this happen before. Shame on them!!!! read more

Racist Nail shop I went in on a Friday around 5 pm the nail shop was a little busy but being I get my nails done every 2 weeks this isn't new to me however the treatment I received at Britton Nails definitely was. At which point they start speaking there language across the salon, i don't think she realized I was walking back to my seat to wait when the other nail tech made a comment to a customer about me (black people). Well i got my nails done there a couple times and i always get the same lady to do my nails because everyone else is busy. This time i told her no, i need my nails short because of my job and she told me it looks ugly short and continues to do my nails long.
