Corned beef hash
Christie N.

I picked up brunch from here days ago and I'm still thinking about it. I got the corned beef hash and it was incredible-- tender corned beef (no canned mush), perfectly poached eggs with a delicate v hollandaise over potatoes, with sourdough toast on the side. And it was $15??? This would easily go for $20-25 in San Francisco, so it felt like a steal too. Since I got it to-go, I can't really speak on service or the vibe. But the person who rung me up ran around a bit to find me jam for my roast and a little container of ketchup, so I appreciated that. The whole place was also clearly popular and lively. It's located in a cute downtown strip. I will absolutely be visiting again next time I roadtrip through the area. Thanks Brix Grill!!

Went for brunch for the first time. We were sat quickly by our waitress who remained fairly attentive and friendly the whole time. We shared a very large pumpkin cinnamon roll between three folks, which was perfect. We each got a benny. A friend snagged the last crab benny (a special for the day) and had high praised for the quality of the crab cakes. The other got the avo benny which was the only one to come on an English muffin surprisingly, and enjoyed it. I got the PNW benny, and apparently didn't read the menu because I expected the traditional lox on an English muffin but was surprised by a whole salmon fillet across a piece of sourdough. It was very tasty though, well cooked and not overly dry. Eggs could've been a tad more jammy, but certainly were hard boiled by any means.

Salted Caramel Martini and a Tito's Bloody Mary!!

Seated right away and by nice and friendly waitresses and bar staff. The Bloody Mary tasted delicious and the wife loved her salted caramel martini. We had appetizers only and loved the steak bites and pork belly items. The pork belly was perfectly cooked and tasted great. The steak was sent back but they made it the second time perfectly like we love, medium rare. Service was excellent and the bartender, Candy, was fantastic!

Plus drinks with DJ BINGO. Fun all over the place!

Awesome food. Awesome service. Great time all around. Friendly staff. Food is better that expected. They must have a high dollar chef in the kitchen. It better than Roseburg deserves.

Great food! Loved the ambiance and the waitress was so attentive! There are a lot of items on the menu that we want to try. We'll be back!

Blackened Mahi Tacos

This place hit all the marks. Good bar style atmosphere with an old feel, and clean. They have a variety of classic sandwiches like a philly, Reuben but also other attractive options like a turkey pesto wrap and Mahi Fish Tacos, which I had and they were great. They also have a variety of special teas and lemonades. The servers were also very attentive and gave free refills to go!

A great place to gather with friends and family. We went in for a late breakfast and they did not disappoint. Their service and food offered was delicious. Our waiter was funny, attentive and made sure we had everything we needed. I will definitely go back next time we're visiting family.

Exceptional Breakfast @ Brix Grill in Roseburg, OR. I was seated upon entry by a very friendly and courteous gentleman. The atmosphere was ideal with an inviting space, clean table tops, and a mouthwatering aroma throughout. My server was pleasant and accommodating. I savored every sip and bite of my meal. I left full and happy. Thank you.

Amazing breakfast. Easily the best gravy I have ever had. Mimosas were delicious and our server was the best.

Good food. Pretty good service. But so very, very noisy. How about adding some sound dampening wall hangings?

I like cookies but more the homemade kind (with much less sugar) but thought I'd give it a try since I was out and needed sustenance to shop. The cookies are big. And almost $5 for one. I chose the Gingerbread cookie with frosting. They warmed the cookie up and frosted it. As I bit into the warm soft gingerbread, I realized, it was a thick swirl of cream cheese frosting! Yum! The only thing that would make it better is a coffee store next door. It was quite sweet, too. I couldn't even eat half the cookie so I will have some for tomorrow. The cookie was good and so was the service. I'm not sure how often I will be back but it is definitely on Santa's nice list!! And mine!

Cookies tasted fine but the chocolate chip was room temperature, not fresh out of the oven and…read moregooey. The brownie was dried out on the edges and really cold as though it'd be in the fridge for a while. The clerk kept flipping her screen to me and back but never seemed to want me to see it. Flipping then it's gone before I got a look. She seemed distracted and wanted to talk to her coworker much more than customers. The counter and computers were oddly very dirty. It's actually disgusting to buy food in such a dirty place. The prices are high, but that would be fine if the place was clean and the cookies were fresh. I remember taking grandchildren in just after they opened up. Spotless, people were well trained and cookies were clearly coming out of the oven into the boxes.

Fred Meyer Store, Roseburg, OR - October 2, 2024…read more I came in on a Wednesday morning around 9:30 am. Having been on the road in our RV for the last couple of weeks, some of our supplies were getting low. I wouldn't swear to it, but I think Fred Meyer stores are only found in Oregon. We've been to a few of them over the years in places like Roseburg and a few other cities in the state. They're pretty massive stores and they don't only sell groceries. If you've never been to a Fred Meyer, you'll be surprised at what you see when you get there. They have a nice deli and produce section. In addition to groceries, they sell things like clothing, furniture, beauty supplies, jewelry, toys, electronics, sports equipment, camping gear, automotive items, hardware, tools, housewares, and more. The store that I visited in Roseberg was very clean, fully stocked, and well organized. I found everything pretty well except for an eyeglass repair kit. I asked several people that worked at the store if they had them and, if so, where I could find them. I got lots of answers like: "I work in groceries section," "I don't know," "Try clothing and apparel,""I'm only in charge of putting up signs," and, "This is the employee area, so they're not here." I finally found an employee in the tool area that told me all the checkout counters have them. Bingo! Sure enough, that's where they were! Overall, I like this store. It had everything I needed and more!
