I didn't ask for the full background story but these 2 ladies are the newest (and very recent) owners of this business. I hope the community supports them, as they are doing general upgrades for machines to use & even had a plumber out to check on things just before I arrived. I seen this business transition through several owners & it had many different levels of care & upkeep in the building & machines. This place is still in need of some TLC but these ladies are proactive at meeting customers walking in for the first time. They ask what you're planning on washing/how many machines you think you'll need, so they can make suggestions with machines appropriate/available for people's needs. One lady even spotted me returning after the initial chat with my laundry (in my own carts) & opened the door before I started to open it. That helps so much to get over the door step & allowed me to navigate the entrance with more ease (I think a first in all the years I've randomly stopped here and means a lot to me - as I do struggle with my mobility limitations while using a cane, opening a door, and maneuvering my carts of all my clothing). They also checked in several times if I needed any assistance with the laundry or the machines themselves. Even asked if I was doing ok & was genuinely interested in how I was sorting for full hang-dry, damp dry & fully dry in my bags. Maybe I was giving her an idea for those that might not have all items good for a dryer? Even though there was a bit of a miscommunication on which machines I was going to use (as I have used coin laundry enough to know that I need 2 bigger & 2 medium sized) vs what she thought she heard me say I was going to use (I'll chalk it up to my mask muffling things), it all worked out. As she had more than enough loonies on-hand. Which meant I accidentally helped test the newly installed machines. These newer bigger machines take $8/load (believe me, totally worth it as doing my laundry in even one of those machines saved me three loads at my friends' house, many hours of my time saved, plus a lot of stairs avoided using the coin laundry). A slightly smaller machine but still decent size for clothing load is $6/load (well once the logistics of getting them set up is complete, so you might want to get in there while it's still cheaper if you have a few loads you were putting off doing). I was offered assistance with finishing laundry (I believe there's an additional fee), keeping tab on coins needed (so you can do one total transaction at the end of your machine usage), access to soap pods (for an additional fee in case you're like me with heavy brain fog & forget your detergent), etc. I'll definitely be back to support these ladies, as they're on the right path to build loyal customers.

I noticed after pick up the next day, that there was a patch of stiffness I understood to be soap residue. I asked them to wash it again. They did it 2 more times and the spot was better, but still there. Staff consulted with a dry cleaner who recommended dry cleaning in the future. No kidding. I was only charged for the first wash. I appreciated the efforts to get my blankie clean. They sell snacks and have about 10 parking spots.

Friendly greeting at coming through the door. No problem getting lots of change. Machines are 6 bucks for the super big loads- which can handle a lot- 3.50 for the smaller ones- and .25 cents to dry for either 3-5 min- depending on the machine strength. Owner helpfully just rolled a laundry cart my way to use for transportation of the loads from washer to dryer. Good area- my husband is off perusing the antique mall while I chill here. This place is old but you can tell the owners are taking pride in keeping it tidy. All in all not such a bad start to the day!

Bring your own soap, some change (the machine I used only took loonies), and enter on the doors on the right. If you don't have any coins or the right ones they can exchange for some up front. This isn't the newest, most renovated place, but the machines and counters were clean and washed my blanket perfectly which is all that really matters. I've used brand-new machines at my college dorm that were gross and barely cleaned my clothes, by contrast. Definitely support local and do your laundry here!

A cheerful and friendly sounding man aid that they were open, and not very busy. When I got there and began bringing my bags in, the man from the phone came over smiling and gave me a cart and helped me load them. I had blankets and several load of clothes. He showed me which machines to use so that I got the best bang for my buck! He then starting helping me fill the machines! The facility was extremely clean and had nice shiny, super clean new looking machines. The man was frequently tidying, cleaning. I found the machines worked well also. The price to wash and dry I thought was very reasonable. They also have a drop off service. I left with my clothes feeling really badly that I had chosen this place. That night at 9 PM I got a call from a number I didn't recognize. I normally don't answer numbers I don't recognize, but something told me to answer this one. There was a man on the other end, asking if I had called his laundromat today and did I have a white hat? I immediately recognized the man's voice from the laundromat, and said I had. He said he was cleaning the machines for the night, when he found a load of laundry. I immediately realised I'd forgotten that one load in the washer. He said he'd dry them for me and I could pick up in the morning. When I got there in the morning, his wife was there folding clothing and gave me a beautiful smile. He explained that when he found my clothes, he knew I'd been the last to use that machine. So he went through his phone to see if he could find my number on it. They were such nice people that this is definitely the place in going to use in the future when I have a washing machine break down.

We got to know them like an extended family and they went above and beyond to help make things easier. I had them do the laundry for pickup as well as alterations. When ownership changed hands the customer service was still as amazing. it's not an easy business to run but they do it with respect and loyalty to those that use their facility. I'm very blessed to know them and that places with integrity still exist. For those who have had experiences that are not positive I'm sorry to hear as it's been almost 20 years I've been going. Nothing and no one is perfect but I know they would want to make it right.

They happen to be in on their day off during one instance when I was there & provided change without any issue (even though I could have used the change machine). I appreciate that they are open until 1am with tons of cameras & police patrol for peace of mind even though I haven't had any issues with any other customers while at this strip mall late at night when staff is not there. The change machine did not accept all the bills I had input to get coins (twice), one washer ate two loonies & not all dryers that I've tried so far are super hot. The place has always been clean when I'm there, has a sink for washing your hands & tons of machine options too. Note: washroom is locked when staff are not onsite. It took me an hour to wash and dry, and that costs $5.00 a load. The ower was very hospitable an insited I make myself at home. Before I left to go out of town for work, I dropped off my sheets and duvet cover, towels and a couple rugs. It came to $25 for the drop off service which seemed pretty reasonable to me. I will be using this laundromat everytime I am home, and will probably leave my sheets and towels every time I leave for my shift up north.
