Easy to miss though as the others are next to the main road whereas this is nearby but hidden behind some trees. Turn at the traffic lights beside the main car park near the tourist information centre and library and follow the road around into the car park. From here you need to cross the main road at the traffic lights, climb up a steep pathway beside a restaurant, then through a shopping mall on the left (The Willings Passage Mews) to reach the town centre.

It's a private car park and costs £2.50 per day with no concessions for people with a disabled badge. A very pleasant man takes the money at the entrance. There are lots of parking spaces and one can usually be found even in summer when the town is overrun by tourists. There's also a very handy postbox at the entrance for those last minute cards to be posted!

Free from October to March and then it's 50p for 2 hours or £2 a day for cars (see one of my photos for more details). There is a ramp walkway to one side (behind the area set aside for coaches) which takes you up to the main road, which you then follow downhill to get to the beach or town. I give it 4 stars instead of 5 because of the distance to the beach or town which might cause problems for some people.

Only able to find a space for an hour, loads of cars couldn't park at all and had to leave the car…read morepark. The car park was completely full. It's such a shame as it's the second time I've tried to visit Narberth whilst holidaying in the area and there are so many lovely independent shops and nice places to eat. Limited parking is not helping the local businesses. We would have had lunch and probably spend more money, but instead had a mad dash around then back to the car to see cars still unable to park.

I recommend parking here, having a snack in Flanagan's Cafe (in the Discovery Centre) and then walking to Sandy Water Park, around the lake and back!
